Twitter swifties are indeed insufferable, but they have way more to talk and think about other than Beyoncé. Unlike the hive with TS.

Beyonce previous album Lemonade had already suffered the same fate but that was mainly excused by it not being available on Spotify during its release (I guess all the Tidal user that gave it its record breaking streaming debut just vanished for some reason).

How can something have the same fate without being on Spotify?

You’re insane trying to spin a narrative of Beyoncé being a flop whilst she’s on the highest grossing female tour.

That aside you do understand 3M daily streams is great for an album released over a year ago? This album her ZERO promo & you’re pulling stuff out of your ass to try and discredit a living legend who’s still successful at 20 years into her career.

quite ironic how this thread was made by a swiftie and 80% of the replies are from swifties but we’re the obsessed ones :deadbanana4:

I literally don't care about streaming numbers in the slightest.

Is the album good? Great. That's what matters.

Also what viral trends does the album have right now? Like why lie and then try to make it seem like this is some highly promoted album...

So they (the ones here) have more to talk about, but are still choosing to talk about Beyoncé?

Why is this thread full of The Hunchback of Pennsylvania stans? :deadbanana4:

As always they will bodyshame and then play the victim card :celestial3:

Every time it's so apparent lol

That’s pretty good for her standards, actually. Have you seen the daily streams for her other albums?

I just can’t imagine reducing Beyoncé (someone who debuted in 1996) down to her number of streams like that’s truly crazy.

What?

When was 4 ever out-streaming LOUD and 21 and if that was the case then, what’s happened since?

Honestly, as I’m genuinely curious now…

I don’t know about Loud, but it was outstreaming Talk That Talk (both released in 2011) until this year I believe.

Beyoncé is just different.

She doesn't need streaming numbers to point to a metric of her worth. While some require stats in order to convince others what amazing impact and popularity they have, Beyoncé, at least since 2011, has been relying on the work to largely speak for itself, and in doing so cutting off a lot of her commercial potential. What proof do we have of this? Well, without scoring any "hit" throughout the 2010s, she only became a bigger star, a bigger legend, and you can see that in the way her name is carried. With RENAISSANCE, in her way (not promoting, not performing, releasing NO music videos) she's almost done the impossible of making a mainstream release feel more like a cult classic. Given the genre and the intent of the album, that also feels appropriate.

I'm sure some will take this as an excuse, but I don't mean it to be. It's simply the way Beyoncé has been functioning for a long while, and I challenge anyone to cite an artist of Beyoncé's stature who has ever even come close to the continued diminishing of her commercial potential for the sake of proving some artistic point like she has.

Even just Formation. When was the last time an ATRL fave released a lead single for free, didn't send it to radio, didn't playlist it, didn't make it available on iTunes, and did not publicly add it's music video to YouTube for nine months? Most ATRL faves instead do the opposite of all these things plus much more.

selftitled wasn’t available for a year on spotify either btw like that’s a whole ass decade of self sabotage that won’t be undone by a single album and yet she’s STILL one of the most streamed females overall

sorry not everyone wants to churn out low quality albums in order to get the most free streams :celestial2:

It's just funny to say "BUT THE TOUR" when the tour is literally the only personal promo she's done for the album for the last year, aside from collecting a Grammy and wearing a Balmain collection inspired by it.

Did I say anything bad :rip:

I literally sad fair for her standard.

Yes there’s no need to try to gaslight us. Saying for her standards is indeed shady. 3M is very good for anyone especially over a year after the album release. Hope that helps!
