That's a good number all things considered.

'RENAISSANCE' will end up with around the same streams as Eminem's 'Music To Be Murdered By', if not with even more, and they're really the only acts in their 40s who are still relevant to the mainstream.

Well Shakira too, but she has no album for comparisons sake, so… :gaycat6:

Honestly, there is more than 1.1B difference with two dates left on her tour.

Do you have numbers showing this?

Because with Taylor it was quite obvious. The numbers went up significantly on the first week of the tour.

Drake and Bad Bunny's numbers were already huge but was the increase substantial?

I don't think this is a real thing if it only works for 3 of the biggest streaming artists

It worked for Weeknd

Worked for Coldplay

Worked for SZA

Worked for Harry

Not Worked for Beyoncé

Kylie, Mary and Toni are not her peers wtf.

The rest yes.

She’s doing fine.

I included Kylie and Mary since they had the biggest commercial successes at the same time (turn of the millennium TRL, 1998-2003). Including Toni was an odd choice, I can see now.

Doesn’t she have a residency on TTH for BMS and Cuff It?

Girl... What? :dies:

The tour did help the album a lot during the first dates, even the album. There was even a thread about the boost in the charts' section, how do I know? Because some of you Swifties were there telling us that it wasn't as impressive as your fave.

It recharted in the top 10 in some European countries where she performed.

LBR she's a legacy/touring artist rn and that's fine.

amazing number considering how long she is in the business and still remained relevant..

This numbers are actually great for someone whose been in the industry for so long. Not everything is about streaming and charts.

Pay some respect to her name.

Numbers?

Edit: Just checked. And this was a lie. Everybody increased on the first weeks including Beyonce. And as I said the only substancial increase was Taylor's

Also none of the increases is mainted after a few weeks. So mentioning the tour as a factor on the OP is not relevant since Bey's tour started months ago

Oh so we're just pretending that an album that has been released more than a year ago doing 3M+ streams daily is bad now :skull:

That’s good for an artist who hasn’t had a single dominating era since what… 2009?

The backfire :dies:

3 million is very impressive even before you factor in this being an artist over two decades into their career, no visuals, no promotion etc. Some of my favs wish they could have a third of those streams lol. 2023 has seen multiple women in music succeeding which is a blessing, no use trying to bring one down.

Even with the ongoing stadium that is the BIGGEST TOUR by a female soloist of all time????

Looks like the fans don't take the mute challenge seriously, they don't even care to stream while putting it on mute :deadbanana2:

It’s fine.  We all know that Beyoncé’s music from the last decade has had challenges finding longevity.  In comparison, this is doing fine.  Pink is also on a major tour and her music is not doing nearly as well.

All except Coldplay peaked if not outright debuted during the streaming era. And even then, Coldplay’s tour boast was for their overall catalog not the current album they currently on tour in promotion of.

mind you this is also Bey's first new release in the the streaming era too.

Compare to Renaissance opening night in Sweden, tour which did boast the album and some of the back catalogue as well

These are decent for a legacy act :michael:

I don't see how 3m daily streams is bad for a 1 year old album that didn't even have any smash hits to carry it.

3M is pretty impressive. :michael:

Kylie Minogue (2023) - 1.913m (just released 4 days ago)

Kylie isn’t Beyoncé’s generation tbh, unless you’re comparing them because they both had a commercial peak (not their only one, just one of them) at the same time?

Her numbers are fine considering it’s an album that didn’t really connect with a very broad audience like Taylor, Harry, Drake, etc. It had a big viral single which is impressive and nothing to sneeze at, but I remember when it dropped lots of the straight people around me said they didn’t “get it”. I think they want more ST (Drunk in Love, Partition) and less dance/diva house from her if we’re being real.

Eminem’s album came out 2 years before and has over 30 songs, it damn well better have more streams :rip:

OT: @Axelios your sick and weird obsession continues. These numbers seem to be fine all things considered

Beyonce had cemented her status in popular culture & history before the streaming era even began.

Her worth as an artist & entertainer does not rely on her streaming numbers; she's far transcended that line.
