Axelios Posted September 27, 2023 Posted September 27, 2023 Despite her ongoing Renaissance World Tour and the numerous viral TikTok trends, Beyonce 2022 album Renaissance is already doing only 3 million daily streams on Spotify and showing poor longevity on the platform. For reference that's less than half what 2022 Grammy AOTY winner Harry's House is doing. Beyonce previous album Lemonade had already suffered the same fate but that was mainly excused by it not being available on Spotify during its release (I guess all the Tidal user that gave it its record breaking streaming debut just vanished for some reason). Renaissance on the other hand was always on Spotify with its singles being plastered at the top of the most popular playlists and benefiting from viral TikTok trends. In general Beyonce has no tracks doing more than 1 million daily streams on Spotify despite the tour. What do you think Beyonce can do to make her music more relevant to the GP? 7 26 1 33
FolkLover1989 Posted September 27, 2023 Posted September 27, 2023 Is there any song on TTH anymore?? That would be concerning otherwise it's fine for her standard 1 7 1
Kaizen Posted September 27, 2023 Posted September 27, 2023 The live versions of the songs are better and after hearing the live versions … I want to listen to those. 4 1 1

What do you think Beyonce can do to make her music more relevant to the GP? _Older audience who stream less, we just gotta accept 40+ YO RnB female artist isn't going to have the same reach as Harry in his peak _Only 1 big single (Cuff it), Alien & Heated could of easily of kept it around the 5m mark. BMS is kind of a non factor. _Lack of promotion. Tour is cute but people like Harry have been everywhere on TV, music videos, on red carpets etc. Rennies streams are fine, none of her peers have an album of 2022 doing more. I also think that such a queer sounding album where the most popular album track is Alien Superstar has it limits in audience... Edited September 27, 2023 by Otter 4

HardBambi Posted September 27, 2023 Posted September 27, 2023 The album will die like Lemonade streaming wise because it doesn’t have big hits Break my soul is a very forgettable number 1 and Cuff it was viral but I don’t think that translates into a classic 7 1

Popular Post fijitears Posted September 27, 2023 Popular Post Posted September 27, 2023 Not sure honestly, but the fact that people like you make these threads while she’s constantly in conversations with an entirely new generation of artists, when debuting 2 decades/20 years ago is ******* impressive. And I’m not even a part of the hive, it was just a ‘mind blown’ realization 30 20 2

The albums tracks have been extremely consistent for most of the year doing 100-200k it's just the singles that have fallen off and so that damage is mostly already done. 3
Popular Post Kristie Kuwa Posted September 27, 2023 Popular Post Posted September 27, 2023 Beyonce is in a very weird spot tbh. On the one hand, she feels like a legacy act at this point - shes a mother of 3, shes been in the industry for 25+ years, she doesnt act like a newbie performing everywhere anymore (her approach is very laissez-faire) Ok the other hand, artistically she still feels very current, her physique and talent allows her to perform at the best level possible, she clearly is still able to deliver music that is also appreciated by GenZ (see Cuff It success). So yeah, quite weird spot. As a fan, it always feels like shes not reaching her full potential, but then you compare her to her real peers like Britney, Justin Timberlake, etc and suddenly her achievements seem gigantic (only challenged by Eminem) 7 8

Popular Post Solaria Posted September 27, 2023 Popular Post Posted September 27, 2023 Why are you so obsessed with Beyoncé? Literally all your replies in threads are either about her or Dua: 16 hours ago, Axelios said: It was in a better sales climate yes but it was not impossible to have much better sales in the 2010s (Taylor Swift, Ed Sheeran, Drake, Adele...). 4 also had a lot of promo and was still not a smash era. Maybe BEYONCE would have performed better with more promo but that's kinda irrelevant. At the end of the day it wasn't a smash like other albums from that time. 17 hours ago, Axelios said: Spotify is the biggest music streaming service globally much bigger than Apple Music. And it's not like Beyonce is performing remarkably well on Apple Music charts anyway. Beyonce was a success but not really a smash era. The last Beyonce smash era is Sasha Fierce which had almost double Beyonce total units. On 9/26/2023 at 8:49 AM, Axelios said: Beyonce needs one to cement her legacy. Safe&Sound Posted September 27, 2023 Posted September 27, 2023 Her team is frustrating Idk if it's Beyonce's actual intention to keep herself not overexposed, but she barely keeps up with the trend Heated definitely showed potential, Energy too, yet her team didnt lift any finger, and instead give us a Kendrick Lamar remix which is great, but no one asked for it I thought this era she would go back to commerical route again 2
