I often notice misandry often towards black men.

Yep, anti-black misandry is real. We see it in the media everyday and incarceration/systemically but let ATRL tell it Black men are just white men in a different font.

Quick- name 5 usher songs without googling

The way you have deluded yourselves into thinking one of the biggest and best selling artists of all time are irrelevant simply because they haven't had a surefire smash **** in a decade is insane.

The Superbowl is usually performed by artists with huge catalogs and Usher is one of them. He has 5 hits off ONE album that everyone knows.

1. Without You

2. DJ Got Us Fallin in Love

3. Climax

4. Scream

5. I Don't Mind

Were all hits in the 2010s.

27 pages for this? Wont bother reading all that but let me guess..... ATRL racist twinks are downplaying Usher ability to do this HT show?

Never heard of him before but it seems like he was big in America and this is an American show. Good for him!

I was getting nervous when that N sync BSB rumor came out. It would have been a dope show but not right now.

Was pulling for Miley...happy for Usher.

What does race has to do with anything? Just because someone is not thrilled by this announcement doesn’t mean they’re racist. You all really need to stop accusing of racism to anyone just because they disagree with you. It’s getting tiring.

You don’t know me. I’m literally mixed race. Black artists form an integral part of my music taste and Beyoncé would have been my #1 pick to headline this.

Beyoncé has done like 3 times already. What an uninspired choice

Beyoncé already headlined 10 years ago.

Exactly. She has a decade of brand new material. It’s time for her to headline again.

Also screaming at someone bringing up repetitive hook lyrics on a pop music site as a drag ignoring the fact that has zero relevance to performance ability :deadbanana4:

some of y’all don’t need internet tbh

Usher outperforms 98% of artists out right now. Way better than whatever ATRL was pining for.

Careful. ATRL hates her too

Y'all hate men that much you want the same woman to be headlining the Super Bowl every year, and you think men are incapable of great performances? :deadbanana4:

Is Atrl angry some pop girl isn’t going the Halftime? On an event that caters to American sports fans? Wow I’m shocked. And the performer is black too, so they’ll be extra salty.

Interesting choice. Maybe Paula Abdul can do 2025 then

@Blue Jeans girl this must be sarcasm because you know damn well… :ryan2:

You've been up and down this thread saying every negative thing about this artist. It's GIVING PRESSED AND BOTHERED.

I'm one of the biggest Bey stans on this site and she's already performed 3 times. Ushers past incidents with women ( and it's not even assault like some artists that's some people on this site want performing) shouldn't deny him the chance as one of the biggest hitmakers of the 2000s to perform at the Superbowl. It's ok that you don't like him but if you wanna come with a negative post every page for the last 10 to try to change 1 or 2 white gays minds in here, GOOD F***IN LUCK.

Btw just because you're mixed race ( I am as well tho I identify more BLACK) doesn't stop you from being Anti-Black.

@JBJT2786 That bolded part right there!  :clap3:

Usher is obviously an icon with more than enough classics to fill a set list; not sure why people are acting like he's a bad choice.

The banner about this thread is so weird, some mod really thought they ate with that :rip:

@supaspaz you got a fan! ^

I don't even like Justin and I am not excited about a male artist performing, that is the whole point of my post

I will be excited about Alicia, Brandy, Doja, Janet etc. performing but not Usher sorry because he is a male artist and that has nothing to do with race

Now maybe there are racists in this thread but the fact people were excited about Beyoncé & Rihanna performing and praised Missy's performance disprove that

If you don’t like male performers, then that’s fine, but you continue to invalidate your points by adding in people being excited about Beyonce and Rihanna as an some attempt to remove race from the conversation.
