He is an 'ok' choice...will be a very Justin Timberlake-level performance at the SB

I remember his song where he sang 'yeah' like 50x in the chorus, not exactly a wordsmith.

I think Usher will be far superior. I hope He knows is his All-Or-Nothing moment. The Cherry On Top to his career.

Justin is an amazing performer too. I was surprised cause He ****** up his performance so bad.
It was so so boring omg......It was very very mid. As a fan i was so underwhelmed

The thing i like the less about his superbowl was The clothing.  He was wearing the ugliest outfit ever. Nothing iconic about this :rip:
His country era was a big mess.

I Wanted something like this better (more sophisticated)

and a show with a better theme-transitions and moments :'(
i guess his bad superbowl reviews and the flop after that was karma for the janet jackson thing.
Karma always come. Sooner or later. Karma karma karma chameleon :gayalipacat4:

This is a horrible post and I'm saying this as a BLACK WOMAN.

Black men are BLACK MEN, they are not one before the other. BLACK MEN are racialized and sexualized in a way specific to them. They are not white men dipped in Black ******* clown.

THISS! Also a black woman here.

what I mean by 'justin timberlake' level performance is 'very straight'

he's not going to wear anything super sexy or revealing nor will any male dancers he has

This post is literally the gays forget that a straight final playoff American Football game halftime performance isn't to cater them :deadbanana:

Justin & Adam Levine were dragged for being boring & mediocre performerd and they are white

One of the two people you just named “cosplayed” as a Prince/MJ knock off for most of their career, whilst also dissing them and additionally distancing and throwing Janet under the bus. Do you really want to keep digging the hole deeper?

The way everytime I look up there’s a classic of his I’m being reminded of, this man could do 3 Super Bowls if he wanted to

Talking about hits from the past and then asking for P!nk is laughable :rip: When Madonna did her Super Bowl she hadn’t had a smash hit in awhile either. Same with Prince. Give Usher a chance.

Just say you're severely pressed and you hate Black artists. Tired of you jumping up and down this thread with attention-seeking posts.

Nurse!!!

What does race has to do with anything? Just because someone is not thrilled by this announcement doesn’t mean they’re racist. You all really need to stop accusing of racism to anyone just because they disagree with you. It’s getting tiring.

You don’t know me. I’m literally mixed race. Black artists form an integral part of my music taste and Beyoncé would have been my #1 pick to headline this.

If Katy perry could do it then Miley could now

I never said Miley can't do it or isn't deserving, I just said that Usher is more so deserving. He's on his 30th year in the industry, has 9 #1 hits and is the second biggest artist of the 2000s. He deserves it, and it's nice to see LEGENDS getting their respect while they are still with us.

Sorry but I don't define people by their skin color

Missy Elliott slayed and overshadowed Katy Perry's Superbowl performance

So it is not about race sorry

Gays in general prefer female artists it is a fact

What does being Gay have to do with anything I said lmfao? You're using Ushers gender as an excuse to let racism off, which y'all do OFTEN on this site in regard to Black men in music.

Ex: the assumption earlier that he's a Rapper because he's a... Black MAN.

I often notice misandry towards black men.

I’m convinced that user is either just trolling or trying to cause mess because they edited that comment to include

Probably because they thought it would help them save their ass but they keep digging the whole deeper

You've been up and down this thread saying every negative thing about this artist. It's GIVING PRESSED AND BOTHERED.

I'm one of the biggest Bey stans on this site and she's already performed 3 times. Ushers past incidents with women ( and it's not even assault like some artists that's some people on this site want performing) shouldn't deny him the chance as one of the biggest hitmakers of the 2000s to perform at the Superbowl. It's ok that you don't like him but if you wanna come with a negative post every page for the last 10 to try to change 1 or 2 white gays minds in here, GOOD F***IN LUCK.

Btw just because you're mixed race ( I am as well tho I identify more BLACK) doesn't stop you from being Anti-Black.

Usher is obviously an icon with more than enough classics to fill a set list; not sure why people are acting like he's a bad choice.

The banner about this thread is so weird, some mod really thought they ate with that :rip:

A favorite pastime for a faction of ATRL users, I fear.

And your opinion of not caring about something you obivously care about enough to come here and voice it is unwarranted. Please if you truly didn't care, you would've ignored this thread and keep it moving. Otherwise what you just said in the second paragraph should've been your actual post.

LOL. I can write what i want respecting the forum rules, i think :rip:
