He’s 100% going to perform this. It’s the fan favorite/ biggest missed single opportunity of his career. He performs it at every show.

I hope so because the intro alone is iconic :jonny:

They are male before being black. Female artists on this site are always going to be preferred over these MJ Impersonators. I don't think anyone had a problem with Beyoncé or Rihanna performing, so stop making it about race

*sigh* here we go, since you want to take it there. We are MALE AND BLACK, we don’t get to separate the two because we’re born with the duality of both, without choice. We don’t get to separate ourselves from our race and cosplay as others, whilst taking from another culture and then benefit off of it for centuries.

Beyonce and Rihanna are two very rare examples of artists whom transcended the zeitgeist of their white peers.

You don’t get to tell us black people how to feel.

If it wasn’t usher it would have been The Killers vs Imagine Dragons since it’s in Vegas this year ( wait this would have been amazing)

not sure why Miley was brought up again :deadbanana2: her name gets thrown around every year I swear :deadbanana2:

If you’re an American from the ages 25-50, you EASILY KNOW five Usher songs. And Gen Z Can be introduced to his music which influenced a lot of modern male artists.

He’s the perfect choice for the Superbowl.

Reminder that Usher has herpes and didn't tell the women he had sex with, so he gave it to them as well.  He already paid out millions over this and is being sued for millions more.

Just say you're severely pressed and you hate Black artists. Tired of you jumping up and down this thread with attention-seeking posts.

The random fumes here. :deadbanana2:

OT: I wonder if he'll perform "OMG" or if he'll leave that one out since he performed it as a guest at The Black Eyed Peas' Super Bowl show.

Honestly he should! Make room for another song.

And to add to this sis, how do they even know Miley wanted to do the Super Bowl in the first place?

Just because they ask an artist, or an artist is considered doesn’t mean there’s a desire to do so on either side. She’s already told us in her recent documentary that she doesn’t even love to tour, what makes these people think that she wants to go on one of the biggest live stages and perform on the Super Bowl?

I know Usher music very well, not really my fave name from the late 90/early 00s to do SB

And your opinion of not caring about something you obivously care about enough to come here and voice it is unwarranted. Please if you truly didn't care, you would've ignored this thread and keep it moving. Otherwise what you just said in the second paragraph should've been your actual post.

This is a horrible post and I'm saying this as a BLACK WOMAN.

Black men are BLACK MEN, they are not one before the other. BLACK MEN are racialized and sexualized in a way specific to them. They are not white men dipped in Black ******* clown.

Ok but you also can’t take what is considered their most generic song and use it to judge their discography either. Doesn’t it make more sense to look at the album tracks, which far outnumber the singles?? Artists release catchy generic radio fodder for success while saving their more artistic and developed songs for their albums typically. That doesn’t mean the basic songs on radio indicate who they are as an artist. Taylor is so much more than Shake It Off. Beyonce is so much more than Single Ladies. Usher is so much more than Yeah!

Agree to disagree I guess
