You have to look at how the other artists are doing the same venue and who is honest about the venue capacity.

Usually, sectioned off seats won’t get counted in final totals because by showtime those seats don’t exist. Any people who’d bought seats in those sections are moved lower and the counting is done as if those were the originally purchased seats. The counting for box office stops once the show is complete and they can’t count seats that don’t exist at show time even if they were on sale originally. Sales are not calculated against venue capacity, but rather against the capacity for that specific show.
