Right. Which means she shouldn’t book arenas if she can’t sell tickets at that price. The other girls on her level (Chloe, Victoria, Sabrina, etc) all are still doing smaller venues because they want to sell them out. She’s not selling out arenas, she doesn’t have the demand nor the hits.

The amount of miscalculation it would take to book these arenas for someone who is only popular online with a select group of gay men is sheer incompetence. Maybe an arena show that is not sold out still brings in more money than a sold-out theater show? Unless it is ego-driven and Kim did not want to do theaters? None of it makes sense to me.

Did you even read the things I wrote?

 

He didn't sell them out because people are waiting for an album to buy tickets and it still hasn't came out. He did sell out last 2 times, of course no one's gonna pay for the more expensive version of the same tour for the third time.

Kim has already had success beyond what anyone could've ever expected. She's pretty much the first mainstream marketed trans artist and has a #1 and a Grammy. If her career ended today she's already hugely surpassed any expectation for a trailblazer kind of artist.. so I see why they thought arenas would work but.. yh maybe a bit too ambitious.

I will never understand what crossed Kim and her team's mind to make them believe she could go from theaters/clubs to arenas because of a hit that wasn't even intended to be part of her album.
