I saw her at a theatre in 2019 and it was great, that's the venue size she should've stuck with. Unholy was pretty much a one-off, it's not like she gained this huge gp following from it.

Carti didn't delay the tour because “low sales” or anything. He has a mega big cult fanbase and he didn't release anything since 2020 despite the huge hype. He can sold that out in HOURS if he wants to.

 

Most fans were waiting for album to drop to buy the tickets.

 

It's an Opium joint tour and Carti's label artists (Ken Carson, Destroy Lonely, Homixide Gang etc) will also be performing there, so the tickets were VERY expensive for most people. ($380+ for general attendance)

 

His upcoming album Music was normally going to drop before this tour, so he can tour the new album, but the album got postponed so the tour got postponed too.

 

WLR came out in 2020 and he toured it 2 times already so he didn't want to start the tour before the new album came out. Most fans are also waiting for new music to attend this, since many of them saw the album live 2 times already. Of course no one is paying $400 to see WLR live live again for the third time.

 

Now the first date is in November 19, and the album will drop before then probably.

This this this, he needs to drop Music.

 

I would have still wanted to go personally, but one of the opening acts is a p*do, so yikes

 

Plus the standing tickets are out of my price range, and no one wants to sit for a Playboi Carti concert.

 

Carti would have been better to do his shows at outdoor venues where it's only standing.

 

I'm not along w/ that thought, his whole subreddit are saying they don't want seated tickets.

They'd be much better off just doing festivals, or high profile nightclubs—in Kim Petras' case. Not every artist will be able to headline an arena tour on their own.
