she actually admires Chris' work and feeling ''embarassed'' was actually about the R. Kelly song... Chris dissed her years ago too calling her ''alien-looking'' and she looked passed that. And now this when she didn't even say anything bad about him.

He's such a moron!

I am not saying his song are masterpieces, so chill. I mean that’s a fact that he used to have HITS, and let’s face it - your fave hasn’t.

And? This has nothing to do with hits. Your marginally talented fave is too busy being overly sensitive and in his feelings about an artist describing a label putting him on their record. Belittle and dismiss her all you want, he is a tnuc.

But he's successful, so he can react to anyone without backlash or consequence, right? :rip:

And it didn't debut on Hot 100 till late January 2014

Who was naming it in 2013?

You didn't say "released post", only "post", so it can be interpreted differently. Guess I'm living.

Suddenly it’s my fault that it made no noise on release and needed to be force played on radio for it to pick up any traction?

Chris should be lucky Tinashe doesn’t utilize the same loser tactics he does otherwise Needs would be a #1 billboard hot 100 hit right now.

I wish she had actually shaded him considering the response :deadbanana2:

This is already all over social media, so he's indirectly promoting her new album without realizing

Gosh, you should just chill. Neither I wrote he’s my fave, nor that I even like his music. I only mentioned that he actually HAS a hits, no matter what you says.

He’s an ******* tho.

Chris Brown is being factual because Tinashe has a flop career and everyone knows it.

As if his fans would care to listen? They’re too busy tuning in to his 50 song albums, each one directly originating from a 3 day long, half-assed writing camp. When the songwriting credits on his next effort are only “ChatGPT” and it’s unironically a career highlight for him.

This topic has come up before and usually end when discuss that atrl is a pop forum primarily and the music of black straight men do not come up to much.  The two most discussed black men on this site are Proably Chris brown, and lil nas.         Chris mostly for past scandal and Instagram post to drag him like recently.

the black women that are discussed on this site usually lean strong into pop sounds very much like tinashe and early Normani.    Straight Rnb isn’t to favored on this site.  He has large audience and to this day he dominates music in his spaces, frequently top all maters of rnb charts and sells out tours.  I think he’s 36 most listened to on Spotify

my the metrics of atrl he is a big star equal to Kelly Clarkson. Stil bangin out a hit every 2-3 years . I hope he retires by his 40th. I want Hollywood to build the next rnb star already it’s wild how no one else come close

If all Chris can focus on is a couple hits being a representation of someone’s career then he should know the couple of hits he’s known for are not remembered fondly. A clown without an ounce of class.

Tinashe being underrated and indie will always be above a woman beating homophobe :sorry:

Loudly admitting he has no taste when she didn’t even say a single negative thing about him. How deeply embarrassing. Childish behavior.

I’m confused how is Chris Brown the bad guy when Tinashe literally threw shade at him in her little statement. 💀💀

Tinashe has always had a nasty stuck up attitude. I’m glad he didn’t hold back

The way he got pressed over a random 'unknown' singer sharing her own experience. He truly hates women, isn't it :biblio:?

She said she was forced by her label to get him and R.Kelly on her own music. What was she supposed to do? Lie about her own experience? Chris Brown took his male privilege and forced himself into that Tinashe song, she's in her whole right to regret that collab :giraffe:
