This isn't true and even back in the day when she was promoting the actual song, she said the label made her do the collab. 

 

Anyways, Tinashe is a queen who is openly outspoken about LGBT rights and is bisexual herself with a great catalog that actually tries to do something innovative with R&B, and has never given up even when she faced industry struggles - while Chris Brown fans keep boosting his phoned-in background slog because they have nostalgia for a man who has repeatedly showed he likes to abuse women and that's not enough for them for stop listening to him. But of course, misogyny and abuse is usually never enough for most people in the world.
