So - the Daily Mail is apparently now all in on insinuating Katy Perry knew about the predatory behavior and didn't report anything.

 

That's a lot to take from this quote but it's no surprise given the source. I'm no fan of hers but this is really a messy leap.

This is some excellent journalism and reporting. Very carefully conducted and reported with integrity. Fair play. Russell is done. The evidence and reporting already leaves very little doubt that this is all true. We need investigative journalism of this quality all of the time when reporting on these types of stories.
 

This isn’t about his social viewpoints, or his opinions on the pandemic, or if he has hot takes on complicated issues - it isn’t about whether mainstream media wanted to take him down. This is about multiple women, with clear evidence and valid timelines coming forward and presenting information that can leave no reasonable doubt that Russell Brand raped and sexually assaulted them.

It's chilling to realize that the world is slowly turning into good vs evil. Like, legitimately. It's happening slowly before our eyes but gray areas are slowly disappearing, to the point where right wing psychopaths are openly defending a serial rapist and an entire side of the political spectrum are cheering them on.

 

It's not even "allegedly" with Brand. The first victim of the documentary got a rape kit done where they collected samples, told the nurse she couldn't go to the police because the perpetrator was a celebrity, and the same day texted him an essay basically saying "you raped me." AND he apologized for "being selfish." There's not even nuance here. This goes back so far that Brand wasn't even a right wing grifter yet.
