She might be a flop in country, but she’s be a bigger flop if she has to be grouped  with the Ava’s and Kim’s.

First of all, Maren wasn’t a flop. She got handful of hits from her first two albums and these albums sold & streamed very well. The last era was the only one that flopped (deservedly so with how boring it was). 
 

With that being said, I’m excited to see what this label change will bring. I’m curious if these two songs are indicative of the sound because it’s a throwback to her first album, or if they’re the “country” of the album and the rest of the songs will be more poppier or rockier.

Once she went against Morgan Wallen for being a racist, country radio started to play her less and obviously started to support massively again Morgan after the storm passed. I think she's done with the obvious ageism against women, misoginy of country music.
