Please, we need the OG “This Is Me… Now” album thread reinstated so that we can chat about the record. The release is imminent with her new BMG contract and recent Apple+ taping where she performed nearly every song of the new record.
 

Right now the album thread is locked and we don’t have one location to discuss any info on it…. and there’s a lot of recent info to share and discuss. 

 

Here’s the OG thread, which already had 32 pages but was then locked.

Cant Get Enough originally features Sean Paul and Coi Leray and would've been out by August already

Right. Like nobodies asking for that. I feel like Jen’s ego is too big sometimes to work with other big female artists 

 

Like, she could’ve easily recorded a single with Shakira for the SB HT. The only reason we got Cardi B is because they have a lot in common coming from the Bronx and are both Latina. They had a connection on that alone. Iggy was random, but I really enjoyed the Iggy collab.

Recording specials for a giant streaming platform and her manager confirming a movie, documentary and the album is still coming as recently as last week. It seems kind of odd that now there’s not one place to discuss the record, while there’s so many details to already be discussed on?

Inside rumors have it be that any decided on release date has been pushed because of the SAG-WGA strike because the album is coupled with a visual album/movie for one of the big streamers. J.Lo also being a working actor and SAG member has made it all difficult to move forward with the release. Yet things are clearly happening with the Apple+ concert special taped last week in LA. Just would be nice to continue to discuss all things album related in a dedicated thread, even if no release date is known at this time. I know this one is a special case, but it would be nice to be exempt from the “no release date known” rule to keep the thread open.
