satellites.™ Posted September 13, 2023 Posted September 13, 2023 I do not hear about her, im black, so y everyday circles do not discuss her much at all.
Jjang Posted September 13, 2023 Posted September 13, 2023 I find it laughable that she won the technical categories as well. But nothing tops mid 1989 winning AOTY over TPAB. 1

popularmoonlight Posted September 13, 2023 Posted September 13, 2023 I certainly get annoyed by how some awards shows make the whole night seem about her
Embustera Posted September 13, 2023 Posted September 13, 2023 Everywhere? If you don’t follow popculture…then you don’t hear much about her.

AvadaKedavra Posted September 13, 2023 Posted September 13, 2023 (edited) All the Popgirls are real lazy today. Theyre so uninterested about the music industry. Rarely go to shows. Rarely do something interesting or attend events. Without Taylor Swift we would be in such a drought. If u look down she's one of the only ones keepin Pop Music alive Im not tired cause she's one of the only things i could get excited for. Edited September 13, 2023 by AvadaKedavra 3

lonnie Posted September 13, 2023 Posted September 13, 2023 Not really. Outside of this forum I'm not really bombarded by Taylor and hardly ever hear her songs/people talking about her. 4
Maroonx Posted September 13, 2023 Posted September 13, 2023 It's only tiring for people who are constantly looking her up, and going into ATRL threads about her. I say this because I don't rly see any celeb news in my bubble, I only see it when I go looking for it... and here on ATRL I don't rly reply/go into topics from celebs I don't care about. I don't have time for online arguments and negative energy.
TheArgonaut Posted September 13, 2023 Posted September 13, 2023 You can easily avoid any celebrity you don’t like… by not talking about them, it’s really that simple 1
LustSpell Posted September 13, 2023 Posted September 13, 2023 (edited) No. I don't honestly care about her musically or personally at the end of the day, so I don't think about her really. I'm good at ignoring what I don't pay attention to. Edited September 13, 2023 by LustSpell 3
Digitalism Posted September 13, 2023 Posted September 13, 2023 I don't live in the US and don't hang out with teenage girls so no 2 1
perfect blue Posted September 13, 2023 Posted September 13, 2023 As an adult it's rare that I run in the same circles as Taylor Swift fans. And when I do they're usually frumpy millennial women that I wouldn't vibe with anyway.
ImsoLOUD Posted September 13, 2023 Posted September 13, 2023 truthfully I don't care I can admit I miss when all of the MPG's used to be show up for the events props to her (and somewhat Nicki) for still showing up tbh

You can’t escape any pop culture event or discussion anymore without her name being mentioned somehow. Are you tired of her dominating pop culture right now? I’m curious. Discuss and keep it cute the way you kept crying about Olivia getting "bullied" along with her "fans" you would think you would stop making these Taylor threads when you can just ignore her like any grown adult man does
spiritboy Posted September 13, 2023 Posted September 13, 2023 Nope, cause she’s literally non-existent in my social bubble and my age group so i can listen to her without being overexposed by her. 2

John Slayne Posted September 13, 2023 Posted September 13, 2023 i don't follow her on any socials and rarely listen to her on spotify so she's not anywhere for me. i do see her name dropped on atrl but people talk about all pop girls here so taylor is not unique in this regard. people irl of course mention her but again, they talk about other big pop culture figures too... when Gaga and Bey were touring people talked about them too.
Xtina23 Posted September 13, 2023 Posted September 13, 2023 Yes. Although I don't hate her, she's not my kind of artist. Every time I see her on TV or hear her on the radio, it's an instant change of the channel or turn it off for me. She just does nothing for me. But I respect her being on top and she has a lot of fans so good for them enjoying her music. 1
gm4567 Posted September 13, 2023 Posted September 13, 2023 (edited) No, shes very easy to ignore and avoid. Outside of her core fanbase she doesn't to be that ubiquitous. Edited September 13, 2023 by gm4567
Into The Void Posted September 13, 2023 Posted September 13, 2023 only on this forum the most annoying thing is threads about her achievements that have become pointless lol
perfillusion Posted September 13, 2023 Posted September 13, 2023 She's doing what we all wish our faves were doing. Serving pop music, videos, performances, hits, being present, hungry, driven, smart. 1
