Not really. Taylor isn’t popular at all in my country. Her only hit song was SIO, I never hear about her lol this is why I am always surprised when I see how commercially big she is in the US.

She's actually my "first" fave. I loved her country days but dropped her during the 1989 era. Nowadays, I don't really care much about her but I don't mind her ubiquity. She will always have a soft spot in my heart, even if she's not my fav anymore.

 

I'm also happy that a female artist in on top right now, and one who doesn't have a competition, because she's too big compare to the rest of her peers, male or female.

She's not just commercially big in the US, she is the biggest female artist of all time worldwide. Ya'll need to accept reality.

We can't deny that she's in her prime right now and on top of the world but I'm sick of seeing her on the news and listening to the radio with a TS song playing every 8 minutes.

I'm a Swiftie but did she really need to win 9 VMAs? LIke she had a huge year but to award basically nothing else was stupid. And it's clearly based on if you show up or not if you win.

I'm not a swiftie but I really like Taylor and her work she's like #2 on my last.fm only after my fave (Lana) but yeah I have to agree a tiny bit. Yesterday I was browsing through the VMAs tag to see what was going on since I was not watching the show and 99% of posts were about Taylor and apparently she had a cam focused on her all night?

As long she hasn’t surpassed Madonna’s total worldwide sales she doesn’t have that title yet. How ironic of you to say that WE are the ones that need to accept reality
