If the Alone/FTB situation proved something, it is that her label should just give up on the forced attempt at big commercial success and let miss girl release whatever she wants that’s true to her vision. If anything smash, it will smash naturally ala Unholy.

 

The surprise release of Problematique surely helps with her current tour ticket sale because the fans got to feel like they were finally heard, that the music on this album felt true to Kim’s ability to make a fun, uncompromising body of work. I think this is also why **** Pop feels something like a niche cult favorite because stans and non-stans listening to it can tell that the music wasn’t made under any serious obligation. The whole thing is just a collection of catchy & camp pop music that dropped out of nowhere, which is what Kim does best by the end of the day. 
 

Kim is not someone who needs big numbers and awards to prove herself as an artist. Her success especially as a trans woman in the industry is fueled by her ability to make music that is true to her pop core and that’s also what been keeping the fans happy from day 1.

Yes i think she and Cirkut worked pretty well together. KOH, Claws and CITS are def absolute bangers and FTB highlights

 

I would like her to work with Max Martin's team again, but this time for an actual bop. I love IJWAR but it was soo underwhelming considering what they could've done together.

 

I don't mind Luke on 2 or 3 songs as long he brings something new and exciting. As much as i enjoyed Alone it was a sign that he pretty much already gave his all to her and the formula kinda became a lil tired

Does anyone know when she's releasing the black pressing of the vinyl worldwide? It was never available on iMusic + the other sites were sold out + i'm not from US so the eBay prices + shipping + taxes are absurd 

 

Instead she's releasing an useless "art CD" from Feed the Beast which basically is the CD on a vinyl packaging

For the international fans who are interested, the vinyl is getting some quick restocks on iMusic. It was 1 per client and sold out in hours. I bought mine last week and i'm waiting for it to be shipped... hopefully there's more available coming but they sold out quick, so keep an eye on there!

Yup, her vinyls are always overpriced and they usually gets sold out fast (especially for me who doesn't live in US/Europe) so i had to get them at higher prices + shipping + taxes to my country

 

I hope SP gets some cute treatment like a gatefold, nice wrapping for the disc, a booklet and most of all a pink disc obviously but watch it being green or dark blue
