Darkgalord
We need to stop doing this. I'm sure none of these artists want that title. They all have their own unique achievements and legacies.
Chris
I'd say Beyonce. Also they kinda collaborated last year with the remix.
kataraqueen
Britney and Beyonce are the Janet and Madonna of our lifetimes, with Britney being Janet and Beyonce being Madonna we need a Britney Beyonce collab stat tbh

Rev8
If u ask her, she would probably say Britney and it's fitting since they both have a large influence, iconic moments, true WW classics +ofc the titles of Princess and Queen but I know ATRL prefers to judge by success stats only which isn't bad..but when u are comparing different generations, markets, climates etc..it's pretty pointless imo 1

Mr. Stratus
Taylor for sales/longevity Gaga is extremely talented in all acting/singing/jazz etc from my perspective i think the madonna comparison is just lazy Beyonce maybe for reinventing every time
brazil
Britney was the obvious answer. Her career disrailed for obvious reasons, but she was the only that was ever truly deemed the princess of pop and therefore the natural heiress to Madonna 4

Before Today
Britney is the definition of princess of pop. No other pop girl fits the criteria and beats her when she was at her peak. You don't have to be an old millennial to witness her prime.

A lot of artists who experienced significant peaks in their careers were notably bigger compared to other artists of their generation. In terms of longevity, Madonna continues to hold a greater stature than Taylor Swift, we will see where Taylor will stand when she reaches, let's say, the age of 40. By the time Madonna was 20 years into her career, she was 43. Taylor will be only 37.

Blue Rose
Beyoncé is the only one worthy of this title even though she has carved her own lane as well (very madonna if you think about it) She has also referenced many Madonna videos and photographs. And she’s honestly the only one serving high class hooker (very madonna too) All the other girls failed in one category or another. The only thing they have in common with Madge is the blonde hair And Bey is the only one who seems to have Madonna’s genuine respect and admiration. I think Madonna loves that her kids look up to Bey as a role model too Edited September 11, 2023 by Blue Rose
