This does actually look insanely high quality. I’d definitely watch it on a streamer.

 

I just can’t stomach the idea of a theater full of people screaming around me. I went to a midnight showing of CATS once and everyone was trying to be a comedian and add commentary. It was the most obnoxious time.

This new Exorcist is the start of a new trilogy, which massive studio Universal will be pushing hard to make it a success.

 

Plus exorcist is a bigger and more recognized icon can Taylor worldwide  so if the film ends up with good critic scores for a horror film and word of mouth, it will easily take the top spot given it's advantage of having way more showtimes.

two months? the shows were filmed earlier this month on the 3rd/4th/5th to be exact, which is less than 4 weeks 

and I thought that they weren't done and just edited the trailer to get it out, but if we have the length confirmed then it's ready

I mean, with the right planning that stuff can be ready in a few days, or even in real time. Post production would just be adjusting technical stuff, and if they have the right equipment it doesn't take too long
