Popboi. Posted August 29, 2023 Posted August 29, 2023 BEYONCÉ > 4 > B’Day Glad everyone can agree her bottom tier are Sasha and DIL.
AxelFox Posted August 29, 2023 Posted August 29, 2023 ST is on a different league, idk why it is included here. That's her magnum opus. As for the other 2, I used to switch between them a lot as I consider them very similar and of comparable quality, but lately I've been feeling that 4 has the edge. Maybe because I'ce grown older and 4 is the more mature album but yeah. ST -- 4>B'Day
Starkboy Posted August 29, 2023 Posted August 29, 2023 Selftitled is Bey's best album so that. but the other two are also fantastic. BEYONCE' > 4 >> B'Day.
ATRL Moderator Tsareena Posted August 29, 2023 ATRL Moderator Posted August 29, 2023 4 is my personal favorite of the 3, ST is impressive and I'd consider it the best of the 3. B'Day is super underrated but it has some of her best songs like kitty kat

And the fact that it's a concept album about what she wished Deena Jones would have said in the film... it's a yes. This though Edited August 29, 2023 by Stallo
QueenBeyoncé Posted August 29, 2023 Posted August 29, 2023 (edited) ST>>>>> 4 >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Bday Edited August 29, 2023 by QueenBeyoncé
swissman Posted August 29, 2023 Posted August 29, 2023 also, anyone NOT using the standard edition of B'Day in their assessment is doing it wrong... B'Day (standard) is a no-skips album!!
FSXP Posted August 29, 2023 Posted August 29, 2023 BEYONCÉ is the best album of the 3 as an album, but the B’Day slander need to leave. The standard edition knocks TOP to BOTTOM. 4 can’t do that.

Veckatimest Posted August 29, 2023 Posted August 29, 2023 These all alternate as my favorite albums of hers so this is hard, but I think it's 4 > ST > B'day, all separated by a hair. B'day deserves no slander though, it was the first era where she struck that impossible balance between engaging in opulence and genuinely letting that be a liberatory path and means of control as opposed to yet another vague reinforcement of materialism, a trap that so many popstars of the same era fell into. I feel that it defined her career to come and her public image arguably more than any other era even if it didn't have nearly the same thematic heft as Renny, Lemonade, or ST. That is to say, it did what DIL and IASF couldn't lol 1
Weld_E Posted August 29, 2023 Posted August 29, 2023 The one that has one of her best songs ever aka Partition.
DamianSolo Posted August 30, 2023 Posted August 30, 2023 The best out of the three is the self-titled album. B'Day is still my personal favorite, though, out of the three; I love how uptempo and full of life it is.
Britney Is Fierce Posted August 30, 2023 Posted August 30, 2023 BEYONCÉ is objectively the better album and 4 is my favorite.
orange22 Posted August 30, 2023 Posted August 30, 2023 Y’all give Bianca: The Album too much and 4 too little!
