Dogs > Cats >  Pitbulls.

Dogs were literally created for human companionship and are able to fulfill actual jobs in human society because of it.

Cats make for great pets but the comparison is a little unfaur.

Overall, dogs. They're much more fun and loyal. Cats are cute, though, I'd ideally have a cat and a dog.

cats definitely. they're easier to take care of, they're less needy, more independent, you don't need to walk cats, and you don't have to waste money washing them or taking them to groomers. cats also don't make a lot of noise by barking constantly. dogs are better companions though, especially if you're lonely or have no friends. i have a cat right now, but i'd ideally want a cat and a dog, but dogs are just too expensive for me right now

My family dog growing up was a big, active beast and I always dreamed of having my own. Then I tried adopting one and couldn't handle it. Cats are better for me right now. I would say though it depends on my energy level. Both are soooo cute.

As someone who has both, and loves both, I find dogs more special. With dogs, I don't have to worry about leaving all my stuff with them, and at the same time, cats (even as adults) have damaged a lot of my wires and destroyed a lot of things.

Cats are affectionate but compared to dogs there is a big difference, they always welcome me as a family relative than the cats that only pass by me, and if you’re  lucky enough they will gently touch your legs and that will be enough for another week or two. I feel like they're with me to eat more than anything else, especially the fat one I named Gordo haha.

Dogs also make you move, leave, breathe some fresh air and see what's going on and most importantly, you don’t need to worry about odors, buy multiple odor removal products or anything to use in the house, they do it all outside and you throw it inside the rubbish container.  Anyway, they are both good in their own way, but if I had to choose, I would choose the dogs without hesitation.

I don't know if my experience with cats is really different but they always greet me and my family when we arrive home. Some of them obviously don't greet strangers because they are usually nervous.

They also seek attention and like to be pet a lot. So it always surprises me when people say their cats are indifferent.

When I'm sitting, I usually have to get them off my lap because they stay there for a long time. :deadbanana:
