Yawn Posted September 1, 2023 Share Posted September 1, 2023 the verses are great and nelly sounds phenomenal in particular overall it’s giving b side tho because the chorus is so weak and doesn’t take the song anywhere. i expected the instrumental to be more memorable too but it’s just timbaland in the most basic and watered down way. imagine if he came with something as punchy as the way i are or promiscuous. Shocked at Timbo going the atmospheric, low-key route. The synth/vocal sample hook mixed with his traditional production would have elevated this so much. It's sad to say that it's clear these 3 don't even remotely have it anymore, and it's even more evident here they're together.
