i feel like the shygirl tour situation would’ve been very defeating for an independent artist, not only the disruption/stress of it all but also because it was such a great idea to begin with

where is the flume/jpeg collab though?? she needs to be getting her name back out there to casual fans/other bases, especially in that niche, digital bubbling-under sphere where listeners really pay attention. would’ve been cool if she was featured on machinedrums project that’s out today.

are there any others in the works that we know of?

No it was never great idea. Shy being barely anything to the table. She is bad performer, she is a lazy and cheap performer. Most of tinashe fans don’t know ha like that or **** with shygirl. A lot of her fans were skipping this tour and waiting for the solo tour next year, which results in poor tickets sales. Shygirl is at the end of her era and has touring consecutively through out the past year. She didn’t have much demands to tour again, all of her VIP tickets for this tour were performing badly. Shygirl could have opened for her, but it should have been BB/Ang3l tour from the very beginning. If it had been this weekend she would the tour would be started and it would significantly more successful than that mess

Still soo crushed about the tour..I was looking forward to next week :gaycat6:

I'm still optimistic for what's coming in the future, but i am also CONVINCED there's something cursed up in T's chart...

It's giving some Jupiter in the 12th house fuckery :gaycat:

I doubt it, but what are they sa:-*ying ?

Nothing crazy, just another round of 'she is so underrated' and 'how is this not a hit'.  Not that is a bad thing, cause people are showing support, but it almost feels like it will never really happen for her no matter how many times she serves quality. I could see it being very deflating, especially after the album not making any noise, the chris brown dragging and now cancelled tour.

Really hope she’s not letting any of that hold her down. Hopefully she has a strong support system around her.

the streaming numbers for such a small artist are completely fine. even Needs did a little noise which no one expected really

Where is her tinydesk performance? How artist much smaller than her have their tinydesk but her. She and team pissed me off. They weren’t going to promote this project, but they couldn’t at least try to book a Tinydesk, Terrell show, bbc1, Fallon and couple vevo performances? Most of those doesn’t cost that much money(except maybe Fallon/bbc since it’s over sea). If she performing for things siriusxfm for free, she could also book those.  BB/Ang3l and needs could have had a chance of being nominated for 2024 Grammys, now I doubt they have any chance now.

Wait I thought the lyric on Needs was "Up for 24 hours, ain't no substitute for quiet"

and I much prefer it that way

She needs to drop a new project ASAP. This was a misstep.

it's time for her to take control of the situation again :bird:

Kinda sad that she didn't just drop a full album cause even though the songs are good, this was such a non-event

Tinashe if you reading this do something, we are bored and tired.

This era man…. :biblio:

Honesty, i think she should announce she’s working on her next album for next year & a tour. She needs to build excitement back up again.

Just leave this as a stand alone EP. Please don’t follow it up with anything.
