I wish Beyonce let Flo & Tinashe open up for her. That would’ve done wonders for her career.

I’m not feeling this era & i think some of you are hyping the material up simply because you love her. It’s not necessary bad but it’s nothing special either. If i was trying to turn someone into a fan i wouldn’t give them this album :deadbanana2:it might bore them.

I think it was a massive mistake scraping that dance album idea because we all were excited for it.

HMU for a good time was a perfect introduction & made me excited.

This whole era including the music videos, tour, music and promotion has been messy. I was expecting this mess after Joyride & leaving RCA.

The music is excellent. That's all that matters for an artists like her

I know she doing all of this to book Coachella, but come on. I hope Coachella is worth it. The tour is struggling, I wonder how she expects to sell tickets with such a messy and uneventful era. The tour might end up doing okay and she might even book Coachella ( very slim chances currently) . Everything is flopping right now.

I hope it worth it @Tinashe

I’m really new to Tinashe — who’s machinedrum? I’m blindly celebrating for the time being

He did Treason, Gravity, and Tighrope from the new album aka the highlights.

This is great news that she’s working on new material with Machinedrum.

I also wish T could have opened, I feel like she's one of the only pop/r&b stars who comes remotely close to Beyoncé when it comes to performing, reinventing and experimenting with music. Compared to some peers from the time she debuted she keeps it so fresh, but I like the newer girls debuting too and they'll have time to shine. Of course Chlöe and Halle are going to be among the ranks of greatness soon.

I do really like the material and think this is a solid album. The one slightly negative thing I will say after letting all the songs grow on me is I feel like there's no centerpiece to the era. SFY had Save Room For Us become an instant classic basically and it was so moving. 333 had Bouncin that just shook everyone up and is widely remembered. All the songs are good but I don't think anything will become iconic in the fanbase, unless a Machinedrum track gets a killer video

Gravity is already a classique amongst the fan base and Needs actually has more momentum on TikTok and streaming services than Bouncin' ever did.

I showed it to my boyfriend who barely knew her and he loved the album enough to go check out some of other albums.

This is being hyped up because it’s genuinely good, at least to most stans. We don’t stan Tinashe for success so if the material quality isn’t there, she gets dragged (see: Joyride). I even personally dragged Songs For You because I don’t think that album lived up to the hype of it being her first post-RCA album; it’s still one of her weakest projects for me.

This album is very Nightride-esque with a more updated sound, and that’s a fan favorite. It’s not a mystery why the fanbase is loving this, it has nothing to do with us loving Tinashe, cause she gets her lashings from us regularly :rip:

Wait gag I did not know Fantano reviewed this, we won :jonny5:

He LIED about saying her pre-leaving RCA music was bland though because Aquarius and Nightride are still amazing

The way I wanted her to do a lot more HMU for a Good Times and was sad when insiders seemed to be saying that she wasn't, but now idgaf because this may be my fave album of hers...

Think this is my most definitive ranking now

Tightrope

None of My Business

Treason

Talk to Me Nice

Uh Huh

Gravity

Needs

Needs is my only obvious least favorite but even then it's still a great song, super fun, great video, would love for it to be a hit, etc etc

Love that the merch and physicals are coming. :clap3:

Now the tour is a month away, I hope we get some behind the scenes footage and more dates are added for 2024.

She needs to do some real promo , tickets sales are terrible now. I don’t think she even  a third of tickets yet

i still don't get the purpose of doing that summer fest tour she did in june without at least dropping TTMN/Needs beforehand :deadbanana2:

i feel like it should've been TTMN -> summer fest tour starts -> Needs dropping during + live debut at these shows -> album dropping at the end of this tour -> continue with the headlining tour a month after -> deluxe or second part of the album during the tour
