I'm ok with her just releasing great songs, she was never going to have a solo #1 or a multi week top 10. Let's be real maybe not even Jade will get that.

With that said it's a shame her label was counting so much on her smashing cause I'm really liking her songs

I love the song, rooting for a top 10 and/or great longevity. 

 

I do have a little confusion around the strategy, though.

 

This should easily have been the lead and come out at the start of the summer.

 

Kinda confused by the Thursday drop too, as all iTunes presales would have kicked in then and now count for the previous charting week. Have read that there may have been a streaming playlist strategy for it, but I still don't get it. 

 

The price slash I'm not too stressed about, especially if it helps get her the top 10.

The more time I’ve had with it the more I do dislike it sadly. Chorus is too repetitive, DSL is better but this should have been her lead during the height of summer. 
 

To see it sat at #5 on iTunes at 59p when it hasn’t even been out 24 hours is also disappointing.

The song should've been uploaded to just streaming platforms yesterday, and added to iTunes from today. 

 

No point dwelling though I'm so excited for this video and I have a good feeling about this song
