hmmm it's a bop for now but i can see it getting old really fast for me with that repetitive chorus

I may be the only one for now but I still prefer DSL to ML.

ML definitely has more soul and identity. It will need tons of promo though, unless she somehow catches on the Calm Down wave and it blows up. Paradoxally I think DSL would have needed less promo in order to make it a more substantial hit, but it definitely feels more generic compared to ML.

 

We’ll see with more plays … but at least she’s giving us music consistently!

NMF placements are a little underwhelming, especially in Europe. I suppose it’s to be expected since she really isn’t carrying any momentum with her after Don’t Say Love made no real noise.

 

I just hope that people do catch on to this, it’s a huge bop and it deserves to be a hit for her.
