I refuse to engage with THAT thread, but smilers need to stop setting themselves up for disappointment, myself included. This woman barely wants to leave her house to anywhere other than Hawaii or an esthetician clinic to botch her face even more, so I'm not sure why we even thought in the first place there was a chance that she'd do the amount of effort that it takes to headline the Superbowl. It goes beyond being invited or not. 

 

I know it felt like a "now or never" sort of thing, but if anything, it's for the best. Miley is clearly uninspired musically and not really committed to her craft right now, let's hope the opportunity comes in a time when she's over her lil summer vacation and finally get rid of that annoying twink boyfriend.

The amount of viral hate tweets she's getting these past few days whew, it feels like we're in 2017-2019 again, but she actually deserves it this time.

Yeah, all jokes aside, I do think she's a bit self-concious when it comes to her looks these days, especially after her plastic surgery. You can tell she avoids to just smile or close her mouth as much as she can in candid pics these days. Saw a fan on twitter trying to link that as a reason to why she's been avoiding the public eye since last year, but not so sure about that.

not the likes but the hate tweets are coming mostly from lovatics... 

the fact that they were basically WAITING for yearsssss to brag about something, anything, and now they're appealing to physical appareance (cuz it's the only thing they ""'could""") is so disgusting

Oh this really intrigued me… cuz all of Columbia’s biggest artists (Adele, Harry & Beyoncé) are currently on tour and they usually work during/after album campaigns. I certainly don’t think they think she’s lazy.

 

I think Miley entered a premeditated agreement with them early on that she’s sitting this era out and that they would provide radio deals, playlisting and proper placement for ESV. I think this is only pertaining to ESV tho.

 

The album is on track to surpass 1M units in the U.S. before 2024 so no matter how much twitter stans wanna shout “it’s a flop!!!” that’s a success to me and a major step up from her last studio album. And they can keep building from there.

 

Their next goal should be to market Miley as an album artist her next album should be able to move units like sza. I don’t know how they’re gonna go about that but the material has to be solid. Oh and if her next album performs really well I think they’ll expect her to headline a really successful WW tour.
