anyway been a while since I checked this kinda is giving ‘meh’ but much stronger than anything else for ESV and will make the album be here for fall/winter she desperately needed that lol it’s still got some legs.

 

I think she should focus on flowers for grammys. I’m not sure where she could submit UTBY and it not hurt flowers chances.

Miley Cyrus is taking a stance against a 2020 MTV VMA production director, who allegedly made sexist comments about her performance.

During her appearance on the Joe Rogan Experience podcast, the pop star, who performed her new single, "Midnight Sky," at the ceremony on Sunday (August 30), spoke out about the incident, admitting that it would have never happened to Travis Scott or Adam Levine. “I was just asking some questions, not even on some diva sh*t," the pop star recounted. "I wanted the lights to be turned off and then the lighting of the room to just be lighting me. So no key light, no beauty light. The beauty light is always used on women and I said, 'Turn the f*cking lights off.' You wouldn't tell Travis Scott or Adam Levine that he couldn't turn the beauty light off! I wanted this red lighting."

Cyrus went on to admit that the production agreed, but something went awry with her bracelets, prompting the sexist comment. "They said, ‘Okay, okay, we’ll just do the same thing that we would do with the guys,’ because that’s what I want," she explained. "And then something that I was doing…my bracelets kept getting caught in all of this sh*t and they said, ‘You want to be treated like a guy and look like a guy, we wouldn't be dealing with this if a guy was doing it.'"

As for her response, the chart-topper hit back, saying, "‘Well, a guy wouldn't be doing this because a guy doesn't sell your show with sex the way that I'm going to." She also told the production team that she was "aware" that that's why she was asked to perform at the ceremony. After being in the business for so long, Cyrus reflected on some of the similar conversations she's had with directors in the past. "I've had these conversations with the directors talking to me. It's a ridiculous conversation and also embarrassing," she continued.

No one is forcing her to tour, but if a simple VMA performance/appearance is really too much for her… she clearly doesn’t wanna work AT ALL.

 

And that’s fine with me, live your life girl. But she can’t expect her stans to keep pushing her music, voting for her, or getting excited for her.  She had all the hype in the world this year and she let it die. She completely abandoned her fanbase and became this robotic label-pushed diva.

 

Even the TikTok interviews were corporate and just banking on nostalgia, so lazy and boring.  it’s over yall
