Revolution Posted August 12, 2023 Posted August 12, 2023 The stakes actually feel real. When most rich people sing about their problems, it feels inauthentic because their lives feel so detached from ours. But Taylor was actually cancelled in 2017 and in trouble. So her insecurities and frustrations feel genuine this time. You can tell why she feels self-conscious when meeting Joe (even though she is privileged, rich people who anyone would want to be with) because everyone thought she was snake 🐍 and bad PR back then. 4 1 1

G.U.Y. Posted August 12, 2023 Posted August 12, 2023 The reason is: it's not an album about revenge, it's about resilience and restarting life after some form of grief. She is a bit traumatized, but right on track 1 she isn't letting that prevent her from seeking love again. 7
Myah Marie Posted August 12, 2023 Posted August 12, 2023 Not y'all considerating the album that has LWYMMD & TIWWCHNT Taylor's best one She has better albums than that one, stop being delulu 1 1
Rev8 Posted August 12, 2023 Posted August 12, 2023 It was the best era to expirience There was good music - (for Everybody, since a part of her fans think she only needs to do slow melancholy stuff) Visuals were superb She proved her haters wrong, while the narrative was against her Reputation really made me stan her. 7
NEX Posted August 12, 2023 Posted August 12, 2023 Reputation stans need to stop trying to make Reputation happen. It will forever remain at the bottom half of her discography. 1
Lyrica Posted August 12, 2023 Posted August 12, 2023 Yes. It was anti woke and cancel culture. We will forever stan.

Abracadabra Posted August 12, 2023 Posted August 12, 2023 In what world was Taylor ever "cancelled"? She was dealing with some backlash but she was never cancelled. 1
Chris Posted August 12, 2023 Posted August 12, 2023 I don't understand for the life of me how anyone with any rationality at all can sit here and say that Reputation is her worst album or one of her worst albums ever. Like.... 1

Digitalism Posted August 12, 2023 Posted August 12, 2023 The tittle It's not a bad album but the rollout was horrible She could have made big numbers with the right singles

rivingtonrebel Posted August 12, 2023 Posted August 12, 2023 It's really not but thank you for your inputs.
Rebel Lion Posted August 12, 2023 Posted August 12, 2023 I'm still recovering from the LWYMMD roll out so maybe you're onto something. 1
Taylor fanboy Posted August 12, 2023 Posted August 12, 2023 (edited) A cathartic, meta yet universal, a thin line between fantasy and reality, the popstar vs. the human, a virtual reality she has commanded through a musical narrative in her most ambitious, yet most mature and down to earth, artistic expressions of finding acceptance of yourself, the importance of real relationships, and embracing life’s dramas. A MASTERPIECE. Her The Truman Show, Her Perfect Blue! Edited August 12, 2023 by Taylor fanboy 3 1 1
