He’s crazy and I hate him, but most NYers are also concerned about this.  The city has received a very large number of immigrants this summer but was not prepared, leaving many to sleep outside on the sidewalk (!!!) and to fend for themselves.  If the city isn’t willing to dedicate enough housing quickly, people are going to become desperate and start looking for other ways to make money and find shelter, which is going to lead to results no one wants to see in the city.

he's valid in his feelings but his execution is really what's wrong. he has an establishment that is being compromised due to one idiot's failure to plan. the person he should be upset with is Commissioner Gordon aka Mayor Eric Adams. he welcomed them into NYC with no plan of action of how to actually support them while not compromising the city and it's residents. it's all around unfortunate for everyone honestly.

There DOES need to be better assimilation programs to avoid these things. You can’t just place 500 immigrants into an area that has completely different culture and values, these people have come from a place of trauma, and the government don’t care. They just want them to reproduce and assimilate over time but it’s not good enough. Of course they’re turning to crime - they come from war torn countries that have poor education, where it’s a dog eat dog culture but on crack - and the US government simply just arrest them instead of helping them!!

 

His anger/frustration is misplaced. It needs to be with the government and they need to manage immigrants better!

I agree with you. We can talk about inmigration Worldwide and exchange different points and conversations In a peaceful way (Not here on ATRL cause there are some extremists jumping at you for any contrarian opinion)   but the way hes' saying it is so hurtful and mean. He clearly hates inmigrants  He's a very bigoted man. 

There's lookin how to fix the problems,help everyone and there's stereotyping and xenophobia like Joe did 

At the same time to understand all of these and why people are moving there to America
Y'll need to understand how much the War On Drugs and USA interventions have affected Latinoamerica-Middle East.....
Where a majority of Inmigrants come  USA has a big part on the problems of this continent.
As a Latino i need my reparations. Reparations like someone gifting me 1989 taylors version  
Yll also need to understand how Hard is to live in the Developing world sometimes and how hard is to get a legal Working Visa
How violent can be some places and how moving away to a better land  is the only way to survive.
