SUBURBAN LEGENDS IS GONNA BE MY SONGGGG WE WON @Klein  @PoisonedIvy @PopA911

If it’s the final track it has to live up to Clean AND New Romantics, both amazing closing tracks of 1989

Some of the Speak Now vault songs don’t fit the album theme at all so I’m curious if those songs are really Speak Now rejects.

It’s also a little worrisome that she hasn’t been specific on the vault songs on why they were left out, who was the intended feature artist back then, who has has the original demo, etc. For example was Nothing New a feature? Who was the feature? Etc a woman in her early 20’s writing about feeling old is very suspicious lol

She.. she has been specific on why these were left off. Label restrictions, time constraints, physical media length, having to choose other songs with similar themes instead, etc. and it’s not suspicious that she wrote about feeling replaced by her fourth album when Speak Now did comparatively worse than Fearless.. she was on a downward trend and that scared her

I was gonna say that I hope there would be some sort of BP collab, but with their disbandment/hiatus coming up, that doesn't seem likely.

eh they wouldn't fit on any of her albums

I hate that two of the songs have the word "now" in the title

True - but if they were to fit on one, it would be 1989 somehow. (Of all of them IMO)

Maybe that’s why they weren’t originally included, because they didn’t fit what the album had become. Doesn’t mean she can’t release them later if she still loved them

For Nothing New, she explained she felt like her novelty had worn off four albums in and was afraid someone would essentially replace her. She didn’t feel old in age, but old in the entertainment world

The "ME!" chanteuse appears to be teasing a secret project by posting some letters : T, S, U, L.

Have you found the secret word ? What or who is she talking about ?

They are indeed Speak Now rejects. All of those songs were registered in 2009 alongside the other Speak Now songs.

I think the letters are the first letter of a word that spells out the title.
