The Simpsons is still airing, still relevant in pop culture, in the top 20 series of the year on streaming, endless memes, i mean simpsons is the top of the food chain.

Cartoons have better iconography due to the nature of their visuals and the one dimensional characters help them stand out much more. You could put basically any long running cartoon against any long running live action tv show and it would win.

This is very common at private schools but they just sweep it under the rug

Obviously The Simpsons.

The better comparison is Friends vs Seinfeld, in which case the answer is Seinfeld.

:bibliahh:

Maybe in the U.S, Friends destroys it globally

OT: The Simpsons but most shows would lose to it

Which is why I've always said I'm glad Lisa and Bart attend public school. Bart especially is extremely impressionable and could fall victim easily.

I could have sworn I was in the thread about the high school teacher sleeping with a 16 year old :rip:

The Simpsons and it’s not even remotely close :rip:

the simpsons is legendary, iconic, has a theme park area at Universal, tons of merch and honestly has a more mass appeal:sorry:

i don't know many people of color who watch friends (and the show also doesn't have any notable poc characters either so :kitty:

also the simpsons is the longest running scripted show (animated and non-animated) of all time. yea quality of recent years is nowhere close to it's peak but they aren't renewing it for no reason...

....and that's that on that!spacer.png

The Simpsons but it is arguably the most iconic and global show of all time. As far as live action sitcoms go, Friends is unparalleled.

The Friends, everyone is still talking abot the series, all the episodes are re-airing on a daily basis for years on TV.

It makes me so confused how all members above said The Simpsons. Probably they are from the US , where I suppose The Simpsons is huge. WW The Simpsons are irrelevant though while Friends are huge
