But he didn't WRITE HDD. I'm just talking about directing, and his directing in that movie is solid and feels very much in line with 5 and 6.

Both Happy Death Day movies are good and Freaky was enjoyable. But yeah, he has more misses than hits. As long as Neve comes back.

5 and 6 were/are so overhyped, the writing is atrocious and they'll age like milk (no rewatchability outside a few scenes imo)

according to some insiders/leakers Radio Silence were never going to direct this movie due to their schedule, they even already delayed their universal monster movie to do VI, so atleast this isn't another Neve situation
