Netflix has raised the baton for “Maestro,” co-writer, producer, director, and star Bradley Cooper’s new drama about the legendary conductor and composer Leonard Bernstein.

Cooper, also a producer of “Maestro” stars as Bernstein. Mulligan, who receives top billing in the project, plays Montealegre Cohn Bernstein. Other actors in the cast include Matt Bomer, Maya Hawke, Sarah Silverman, Josh Hamilton, Scott Ellis, Gideon Glick, Sam Nivola, Alexa Swinton, and Miriam Shor.

Has all the perfect ingredients for Bradley to finally win Best Actor. The trans formative makeup, the release date, the biopic, the overdue factor...

I’m not sure what Carey Mulligan is doing here. Bradley looks like he’s doing a good job.

maybe it’ll finally be his year.

he should’ve won already to be fair.

GoldDerby currently has him in third place in predictions behind Cillian Murphy in Oppenheimer at #2 & Leonardo DiCaprio in Killers Of The Flower Moon at #1.

And yes, he was MUCH better in A Star Is Born than Rami Malek in Bohemian Rhapsody

A person on a movie forum watches a lot of early screenings and it's a very trustworthy source, wrote It's the best performance of Cooper but the movie overall is a mess.

Bradley has a very specific eye for direction, and this film looks visually STUNNING!!! I cannot wait to see it.

When an actor's entire shtick is getting roles to generate Goldderby buzz & be nominated for/win Oscars :biblio:... will he ever get lucky?

Awards banter truly is the corniest sh*t

OT: Cute trailer

Is there an audience for this? Who is going to watch this? The trailer wasn't exactly stimulating
