Midnights is marginally better but Confessions is bigger in every conceivable way.

At least AH was made slight dent on here not to mention the fanbase is so much bigger.

Midnights + The Eras Tour are slaying the entire TIktok and Insta reels (which is the MAIN media consumption from the GP today), having an amazing longevity on Spotify, not to mention pure sales.. like

Better is up to subjective taste.  Both are pretty good albums but neither of their best.

Well this proves that Midnights is factually bigger. 

The thread is neither which album accumulated more sales in the longest amount of time. 

Bigger is a comparison of week to week basis and MD is huge. 

 

However COADF is much better and has better videos.

I would say Midnights is bigger. Based on the numbers, in another year it will surpass Confessions.

 

That said, Midnights is perhaps my least favorite Taylor album and I don't really get the grip it seems to have. I think it is a straight up bad album, which I can't say the same for Confessions. I don't think it is as good an album as the majority of pop fans think it is, but I do think it is better than Midnights.

This can be your opinion. It's not mine. Selling 4,5 million in 6 weeks was outstanding. Mariah sold 7,7 million in 8 months in the same year. 

 

Intensive Care and CODF were the top selling releases of the last 2 months of 2005.
