The thing with Nicki is that she's a campy pop diva at heart which is why a lot of people downplay her success as a rapper. She lacks a Bodak Yellow street anthem and that's why she's so bothered all the time.

Like who? She isn't Doja chile. 

 

Nicki still get RAP accolades/awards still this very day. She went pop for ONE era and still had heavy rap songs on it.

Don't get me wrong, I am a fan of hers and I couldn't care less about the genre she chooses to go each time. In fact, her versatility is what I admire the most about her.

You can't deny though that in order to be the queen of rap you need to have at least one massive rap classic and she simply doesn't have that. The closest she got to that was with her Monster verse. If Lookin Ass was as massive as it deserved to be then yes perhaps she'd be more respected as a rap hitmaker.

We have to give 10’s when it’s due. Never thought she’d snatch a hit after what happened in the Queen era. Her longevity is great 
 

But she leeches off newer artists hype to fuel her own momentum. And both hits have been samples so I’m curious if she can do the same with an original track.

Define "on top"? I would not call jumping on songs with more popular, current, and relevant artists in order to get attention being "on top".

Cannot speak for Katy or Rihanna, but Gaga understands quality over quantity. Spreading yourself thin just to pad your stats does not work out in the end. Gaga is an Academy Award-winning musician and a respected actress exactly because she does not do stuff like this that cheapens her brand.

Yes, I am watching the same charts. You said “someone else is on top”. The Jungkook song is the only one charting above a Nicki song, as PIOTF is lower. Have you followed Latto or are you just using her to shade Nicki? She has 2 charting songs right now, because of Jungkook and Cardi. Maybe you need a reminder that the ORIGINAL solo version of PIOTF ever didn’t chart.
