I knew seeing the lashings here that it would be great  it's obviously super LQ and probably very filtered too so it's obviously not gonna be what'll be released, but as an intro track I think it's pretty good? As someone who thinks Nightride is one of the best things she's ever put out, I'm 100 percent here for it.

love the song, but like, this doesn't sound like something that should be the lead single, in a commercial perspective 
maybe is an Attention-esque strategy I guess, where this song is the introduction.

It’s kinda hilarious that y’all are holding this girl to a commercial standard when she deliberately has departed from having those pressures and expectations placed upon her for several album cycles now.

 

Pasadena and Die A Little Bit— both untraditional and risky lead singles. Especially the latter.

pasadena was such a fun pop song though and def a stronger lead than this, but she’s releasing this as a lead for a reason I assume. I trust her process.
 

I also have a feeling us popnashe fans won’t be fed this era. 

 

On another note, I hope the album has a cohesive sound/theme.

I expect this but I just thought since she is now on a label she would be a little  bit more conventional, but she definitely does not give a f… and I am loving it. She has create her own lane, all she needs to do is continue to grow it and reach more people.

Last year she did say popnashe might not like this project as much as her previous ones but the other groups would. I am sure she will throw popnashe fans/stans a few bones though throughout the project. There is still pop elements in this songs though, her vocals.

maybe it’s the alcohol speaking but i think maybe we should go without having someone spoil things and just go into it without crazy expectations. you’ll enjoy it a lot more if you’re just open to the music.

Lots of artists aren’t really releasing “obvious lead song” singles anymore. Specially Tinashe. I liked this and def better than most things on 333. Curious to hear the HQ version.

That makes me a bit worried because I don't know who I am as a fan   Like a love nightride but I don't play Amethyst that much...
