JayG Posted July 21, 2023 Posted July 21, 2023 This is SICK - perfect mix of Nightride and 333, YES ***** 3
Aimen Posted July 21, 2023 Posted July 21, 2023 I didnt like the song on first listen but after more listens it grow on me alot and i like it alot now 1
Alex Posted July 21, 2023 Posted July 21, 2023 it's so Tinashe? like I'm not sure who else could pull this off, especially as a lead. Love how she's always committed to just doing what she wants and what feels right. 6
matthado Posted July 21, 2023 Posted July 21, 2023 I was not feeling it at first, but I am enjoying it now. 1
istan4badgalriri Posted July 21, 2023 Posted July 21, 2023 gets better with each listen such a great introduction to her new era 1

I hope they come through for the next single They have to play for playlist placements ? Tinashe as indie has zero playlisting so that's might be actually true.
Breathe On Moi Posted July 21, 2023 Posted July 21, 2023 I’m absolutely in LOVE. I was terrified to listen because so many negative ppl in here but wow wow wow. REPEAT! 1
nuclear Posted July 21, 2023 Posted July 21, 2023 (edited) For the ones that are not vibing right now. This song is a major grower (like most of tinashe music, especially leads). Give it times. Tinashe music in a nutshell Edited July 21, 2023 by nuclear 1 1
orange22 Posted July 21, 2023 Posted July 21, 2023 I like the first half better than the second tbh 2
holyground13 Posted July 21, 2023 Posted July 21, 2023 I wasn't sure on the first listen but ever since my second listen I've been so on board. So fresh and what a vibe. Also the cover is a 10. 2
orange22 Posted July 21, 2023 Posted July 21, 2023 Nightride finding out it finally has some competition 1
kishi Posted July 21, 2023 Posted July 21, 2023 This is like the more mature, laid back sister of Bouncin'. It's subdued, it's sexy, it's eclectic. You have to be in a certain mood to really catch it, definitely "vibey" type of music. I listened to the song first with my eyes closed and realized "ah shoot, I need to lay back and just let the song do it's thing". It does grow with each listen. Then I saw the video and realized she's definitely sticking to visuals and aesthetics that are abstract and somewhat odd, but uniquely Tinashe. A natural progression from 333. Can't wait to see what's next! 2
livelikemusic Posted July 21, 2023 Posted July 21, 2023 She continues to snap... surprised she's back to the blonde hair, too, but loving it. 1
Cruel Summer Posted July 21, 2023 Posted July 21, 2023 It’s like sonic scripture. Hit me on first play. Imagine what it’s like inside her mind. 2

Anyway, she’s been friends with this girl who’s been stan for awhile now. And this stan likes to talk to some other stans on twitter, one of which is a friend, and she told him that she had to reshoot the video bc prior to signing to nice life there was a feeling that they were trying to change her and from their perspective she was being somewhat difficult. Fast forward to TTMN, they requested a specific videographer for her to work with. She agreed to please them and seem more agreeable. Shot the video. It turned out horribly and she used that as leverage to get her way and reshoot the whole thing, which she also said was the cause for the initial release delay. I’m sure some atrl stans know which stan I’m talking about who has become her irl friend. Anyway, the whole video feels like the budget was wasted on a half baked video, but at least she looks cute and there are some interesting moments and shots. oh God, they didn't even put one single out and there was drama already this **** better not continue in the following rollout or else she'll be jumping ship again The playlisting is decent for this non-mainstream-pleasing song. #30 on New Music Friday for example I really hope we'll get a bop next! I was hoping for Nashe-sized bops since she became a blonde again
