"Dusty", seriously? What about that Cheeto Dusty president of yours?

Education, democracy, gun laws, freedom of speech - everything is above the US at the moment.

I'll use the expression "touch the grass" and change it to "feel the freedom in Europe"

Tell us you know nothing about the US without telling us you know nothing about the US. :clown:

And Europe doesn’t have free speech. Hate speech is not protected, thus free speech isn’t a thing. Government decides for you. Free speech = right to unpopular speech. The US has the most liberal speech laws in the world. It’s constitutionally guaranteed. Americans are legally entitled to challenge it.

Europeans: "Americans are FAT and LAZY and thus don't like taking their FAT and LAZY bodies on walk because their FAT legs are too LAZY for a meager stroll across the village, cause they're FAT and LAZY."

What's it like trying to walk in your average American mid-size city:

So the FAT and LAZY people sitting in their cars not knowing the rules? Got it.

Car-dependency in the US is such a disaster. The fact that in the majority of Europeans' medium cities you have everything that you need in a 15 minute-walk distance and the bigger cities it is usually faster to take public transport blows their mind because they literally need to take a car to take a coffee or go to the grocery store, when we usually have this things no more than 5 minutes away on foot :deadbanana:

I mean, this is not their fault and they will need to get used to it because more and more US cities are starting to destroy their horrible highways and will need to start using a more sustainable urbanism in the next decade. Half of the roads in their suburbs are terrible and the cost of their infrastructure is too high to stay with the current model that they have so much longer.

To be fair, in Europe you wouldn't find a crosswalk but traffic lights at in intersection with 4 lanes like this.

There are few experiences as alienating as living in a car centric city. Driving is horrible as is for the stress and expense but then you are beholden to a system of laws that reinforce auto dependence (“jaywalking” and “disturbing the peace”, single use zoning, destruction of public transportation, employers refusing to hire people that don’t have a driver’s license). By far one of the worst aspect of living in the US.
