Mid as hell. I'm disappointed.

He peaked at ASTROWORLD I fear.

DELRESTO is so good omg

Posted

He's never touching Astroworld but so far this is decent. My expectations were low after KPOP but the run from Meltdown, Sirens, FE!N, Delresto, I Know is great. 21's verse was kinda weak. Circus Maximus is straight out of Yeezus :jonny5: Production in general is top notch.

Top 5:

Meltdown

Circus Maximus

FE!N

LOOOVE

Telekinesis

I don't like this trend of not crediting featured artists

this. then you have björk with the “(feat. Arca)” on each and every song on Utopia (her utopia nn) for being the album co-producer

This did ~125M on the Spotify Global chart alone, insane

So the overperforming songs based on their tracklist order are Meltdown, Fein and Delresto

The massive numbers he pulled :dies:

It’s a great album. Definitely very Kanye. Production is top notch and the features are actually well thought for the most part

My faves are (no order) Hyaena, Thank God, Modern Jam, My Eyes (!!! great 1-2-3-4 punch to open the album), Delresto, Circus Maximus (Godbel the king of pop that you are), Looove and Telekinesis :bird:

Here I was thinking DELESTRO being too weird and obscure would debut with 2m WW, let alone just doing that in the US :rip:

If only Bey's name was included, this could've been her biggest debut ever and definitely expose her to a whole new set of listeners and fans. They botched this one, I fear. :clown:

Bad Bunny kinda the best feature on the album alongside Bey. :bird: anyway the album was average at best

CIRCUS MAXIMUS is giving major Black Skinhead vibes, but more chilled.

K-POP is one of the weakest, flattest and blandest on the album. What was he going for with this one picking it as the lead :skull:

Im kinda late but this album is actually really good. Might get an AOTY nod if the year remains stale. Pleasently surprised by MODERN JAM, DELRESTO, FEIN, MELTDOWN and LOST FOREVER. Its well produced.

I feel like the only issue i have with this album is that it’s kinda redundant at some point. It could’ve been narrowed down to 12 or 13 tracks.

Came in with low expectations but I'm satisfied. There's songs that aren't as good, but there's a lot of highlights and solid production on here. I think it's about on par with Astroworld but not as strong as Rodeo, although I will need more listens.

I liked the first half, didn't really care for the second half tbh this would be great as a 12-14 tracks album.
