Kern Posted July 9, 2023 Posted July 9, 2023 (edited) Did they have to go for the "big names" no one even asked, would it hurt that indie director to use indie artist that would deliever good music and promote the movie properly? Edited July 9, 2023 by the70s 1
Bey'Knight Posted July 9, 2023 Posted July 9, 2023 (edited) Love Sam but this kinda anticlimactic. Even if the quote wasn’t about them, what was the point of saving them for last when they’re just as contemporary as anyone else on the OST? Would’ve made sense for an unexpected legend like the Dolly rumour or one of the A-list pop girls. I suppose this was just to pique interest in the album , marketing 101. Smarticle Posted July 9, 2023 Posted July 9, 2023 The way they are the last reveal too the anticlimactic 1
toxicgenie Posted July 9, 2023 Posted July 9, 2023 I didn't like any of the Barbie songs tbh. Maybe in the movie they will be better idk.
Talento Posted July 9, 2023 Posted July 9, 2023 Aren't these usually fake? If it's real I feel this would be the first misfire from Barbie's great marketing thus far 1

kikugalanet Posted July 9, 2023 Posted July 9, 2023 (edited) Was anyone able to find this entry on GEMA, or wherever this screenshot if from? Edited July 9, 2023 by kikugalanet
Bloodflowers. Posted July 9, 2023 Posted July 9, 2023 What a let down the way they kept Sam freaking Smith as the last "surprise" as if anyone would move to that
G.U.Y_Del_Rey Posted July 9, 2023 Posted July 9, 2023 I'm glad I'm not one of those delulu Liddos who thought it'd be Gaga. 1
Schami66 Posted July 9, 2023 Posted July 9, 2023 LOVE IT! Hope it's a catchy dance bop OR the exact opposite. Like a acoustic ballad from Kens perspective. Can't wait to hear it.
Happylittlepunk Posted July 9, 2023 Posted July 9, 2023 The way this could’ve been Britney or Katy so easily. 2
Sometimes Posted July 9, 2023 Posted July 9, 2023 They should've announced Sam first and saved Billie for last
kikugalanet Posted July 9, 2023 Posted July 9, 2023 (edited) Screenshot is likely fake. Sam Smith usually gets credited as "SMITH, SAMUEL FREDERICK" on GEMA. There's also no corresponding ISWC entry. Edited July 9, 2023 by kikugalanet

Y’all can search it yourself here if you don’t believe it. But it’s there and it’s real. Y’all were delusional as hell with all the people you wanted on here. Both Sam and Billie have won OSCARS for their soundtrack songs. Having them both on this one is HUGE. Y’all living in a fairytale land. 3 1
EtherealCat Posted July 9, 2023 Posted July 9, 2023 (edited) that cant be who they chose as the big final surprise? on an album with billie, dua, nicki and ice spice? Edited July 9, 2023 by EtherealCat

Bussea Posted July 9, 2023 Posted July 9, 2023 what is the point of trying to keep Sam and Billie secret though

It didn't show up when entering "SMITH" as performing artist, that's why I was confused. Edited July 9, 2023 by kikugalanet
onapearl Posted July 9, 2023 Posted July 9, 2023 Hey - maybe they left Sam as the final reveal because Sam's is the one song that will exceed expectations instead of falling short of expectations! 1 1
zach Posted July 9, 2023 Posted July 9, 2023 Just now, Laura Palmer said: Are they no longer identifying as non-binary? Based on the title and what we know about the movie, it’s most likely a song about questioning your identity as a man…
