And we love to see it, this was a tough album for her to get out she had to fight for it after Basic Instinct got such bad press (completely unfairly, it’s a great album and miles better than what she’s doing now). Then self titled came in and was full of bops, she had multiple hits and it brought us classics like Super Turnt Up, Keep On Looking, Livin It Up and Overdose. It felt like a Ciara album for all her different types of fans (pop/RnB/crunk/slow jams etc. )

Her best album hands down. The album has so many bangers. I don’t know how she went from this to everything that came after. Especially Jackie being half rejects from One Woman Army. What even was that

i am still beyond mad they ended the era shortly after Overdose was announced a single. I loved that song already when we only had the snipped a year prior

This is hands down her best album but she treated this era the worst

Overdose should have been the lead single and had a proper music vídeo. That song is a classic.

Fantasy Ride - Basic Instinct - Ciara is her trinity and artistic peak. She was serving quality, hunger, versatility and ambition. The first two albums had some amazing singles but were FULL of fillers (excluding her best song Thug Style).

We do not stan numbers in this house

10 years already? :deadbanana: It's so lame how underappreciated Ciara is. While not my favorite album from her, that would be Jackie, it's still a great body of work! I'm still waiting for her to have an explosive comeback.

I will forever hate her for not releasing this song as a single.
