Luckitty Posted September 7, 2023 Posted September 7, 2023 my top 5 as of now (no particular order): all-american ***** lacy logical love is embarrassing ballad of a homeschooled girl
Baby Judas Posted September 7, 2023 Posted September 7, 2023 brutal is still the perfect tour opener, I fear..
cyberpunkgoth Posted September 7, 2023 Posted September 7, 2023 are we getting the deluxe tracks today/tomorrow? some people already have the vinyls
Baby Judas Posted September 7, 2023 Posted September 7, 2023 AAB is in my top 5 I fear.. That switch is immaculate..
drivers license Posted September 7, 2023 Posted September 7, 2023 why is lacy getting either extreme love or hate? i’m curious as hell but i’m going to listen from the start… here we go
teenager Posted September 7, 2023 Posted September 7, 2023 (edited) all American ***** the contrast with the light verses to the hard hitting chorus. slaaaay lacy she really sounds like lorde at parts. it’s a bit forgettable ballad of a homeschooled girl the gay line. the billie print making the bed logical is… a choice! get him back definitely single material love is embarrassing SLAPS. NEXT SINGLE ***** the grudge pretty isn’t pretty I can imagine blaring down Hollywood boulevard in a convertible. slay Teenage dream is cute i imagine it’ll grow on me even more but so far a solid sophomore!! Jai Posted September 7, 2023 Posted September 7, 2023 (edited) Not as consistent as Sour was for me BUT this is a fun album I expect will be more of a grower for me. LOVED Lacy Edited September 7, 2023 by Jai
Eóghan Posted September 7, 2023 Posted September 7, 2023 'Lacy' like the name suggest is laced with crack, the same dust that was in "Favorite Crime"
Starkboy Posted September 7, 2023 Posted September 7, 2023 based on the AM previews All American ***** 10/10 lacy 7.5/10 ballad of a homeschooled girl 10/10 making the bed 9/10 logical 6.5/10 get him back 8.5/10 love is embarrassing 9.5/10 the grudge 8/10 pretty isn't pretty 8.5/10 teenage dream 8/10

Starkboy Posted September 7, 2023 Posted September 7, 2023 when ballad goes viral on tiktok then what?

GAGAISTHEBESTYA Posted September 7, 2023 Posted September 7, 2023 Lacy is so atmospheric and she sounds so mature in it. Almost couldn't tell if it was her singing.
harmonizeme89 Posted September 7, 2023 Posted September 7, 2023 Pretty Isn’t Pretty is such 90’s vibes, I love it so much.
jijie101 Posted September 7, 2023 Posted September 7, 2023 The only song I don't care about is The Grudge. I love SOUR to death but this is kinda even better Get Him Back and Love Is Embarrassing are the obvious single choices. Ballad has huge potential to be viral on Tik Tok but I don't see it being a single.
Starkboy Posted September 7, 2023 Posted September 7, 2023 ok gonna stop listen and wait midnight for the full 1st listen but what happened to the deluxe tracks? are they really 1 exclusive for each vinyl or they were trolling?
georgechxng Posted September 7, 2023 Posted September 7, 2023 the ballad of a homeschooled girl being an upbeat song about her social anxieties when partying and going out is so smart because it makes a lot of sense since she didn’t got to have a normal high school experience. clever ass title.
Beyonnaise Posted September 7, 2023 Posted September 7, 2023 Ballad of a Homeschooled Girl is good I remember she said she was inspired by Return of Saturn by No Doubt, I definitely hear shades of it
georgechxng Posted September 7, 2023 Posted September 7, 2023 (edited) the grudge definitely feels like abt taylor or at the very least opens up a lot of speculation abt it more than any of her other songs ever did and i’m sure she was aware of that. if that was the case, i’m glad she finally was able to vent about her feelings abt it on a healthy way tho. swifties will probably attack her for it but i thought she was pretty respectable.
