The “Looking for something that lives inside me” lyric before going into that the final chorus with the choir was a spiritual experience the first few times I heard it. If only the song was cut by like a minute so we can get to the part without the repetitiveness element, but it’s fine.

Weird, because we were told so categorically that it was only a hit because of radio. :fan:

2x platinium is nothing to brag about in the streaming era. And it had atrocious longevity on global streaming services.

Didn't click for me as a single but I enjoyed it in the context of the whole album :clap3:

My most played song of 2022 and one of my favourite singles from her. Seeing it a live a year later elevated it even more for me:jonny5:

A multi-platinum hit 25 years into a career isn't something to brag about? :fan: You're always mad about something, we love to see it!

I'm not mad. Multi-platinium certifications for songs are just much easier to get nowadays. BMS chartrun was radio driven in the US and it doesn't have good streams internationally despite the significant playlisting promo.

At least Cuff It is a real hit.

Girl, you're always mad. :skull: That's why you're perpetually seething over Beyoncé all the time, even over such nothing situations like this. She got multiple multi-platinum hits this era, 25 years into her career. Stay mad about it and stay mad outside of my mentions. :heart2:

And hasn't aged a SINGLE bit. It still sounds so good. The best choice for the lead no matter what people say :WAP:

The worst song on an amazing album :clap3: but she gave us the Vogue remix so all is forgiven

at 1st i was turned off by the sample. Like i would expect the sample if it was Ava Max but not from Bey.

Then i realize the song is a bop and bop to it for the whole summer but it aged like milk, once again maybe its because of the sample.

The album is great, though. Shame that she didnt do anything for it.

It'll get to 3X Platinum when it's all said & done:cm:

And I wouldn't call these songs hits.

BMS chart run was not radio driven. If it was, then why was it dropped after like 10 weeks, in an era when radio holds on to them for a year, sometimes even more? BMS was a legitimate hit, albeit having a very short run. And it's not like it debuted at #1 then just fell, it even had a rise and peaked in weeks 7-10. It's run was kind of like a 1970s song in 2022. If only more songs had this type of run, then radio would be fresh and the charts would be more enjoyable.

An organic Billboard Hot 100 #1 decades into her career. Not everybody has that to their credit.
