Rema's team should release a remix by some DJ or something or signed copies

The version that peaked at #3 this week on hot 100 is already a remix..I think that's enough.

One version already enough? There’s artists that release like 10 other remixes, so if Rema decides to release a couple it is just as fine. And there’s other types of remixes, which are the ones I was talking about; by DJs or producers and featuring actual new mixes and production, ready for the club (and not just someone else on the track)

Wow, do you know what Something in the Orange's radio peak was? :bloo:

I think SITO peaked at 10.07 million Country. SITO peaked at around 350,000 on AAA. But SITO never reached All Stations AAA, which is what Kworb.net uses on MB AI (and should). So SITO probably never reached above 10.5 million on MB AI & 8.5 million on BB. The 17 June 2023 predictions showed SITO had just 7.7 million impressions, 16.7 million streams & 2300 downloads. SITO doesn't quite fit at Country or AAA so neither genre will run with it despite its amazing streaming stability for months on end now.

OK I'll share the BB Hot 100 Top 5 for the weeks Fast Car sat at its #6 peak. FC fell to #7 between its 2 peak weeks.

27 Aug 88: #6 Fast Car--Tracy Chapman, #5 Simply Irresistible--Robert Palmer, #4 Sweet Child Of Mine--Guns & Roses, #3 I Don't Want To Live Without Your Love--Chicago, #2 I Don't Want To Go On With You Like That--Elton John & #1 Monkey--George Michael.

03 Sep 88: #7 Fast Car--Tracy Chapman, #6 Perfect World--Huey Lewis & The News, #5 I Don't Want To Live Without Your Love--Chicago, #4 I Don't Want To Go On With You Like That--Elton John, #3 Simply Irresistible--Robert Palmer, #2 Sweet Child Of Mine--Guns & Roses, #1 Monkey--George Michael.

10 Sep 88: #6 Fast Car--Tracy Chapman, #5 When Its Love--Van Halen, #4 Monkey--George Michael, #3 Perfect World--Huey Lewis & The News, #2 Simply Irresistible--Robert Palmer, #1 Sweet Child Of Mine--Guns & Roses.

So, particularly with Sweet Child Of Mine, Fast Car faced tough competition on the H100. But Tracy Chapman's self-titled debut, FCs parent album, did reach #1 1 week on the BB 200. Also, Michael & John would go on to become very important LGBTQAIH+ community spokespeople, so Chapman also had company there too.

Same as this.

However at this point Rema won't release any remixes. I think seeing how the song is peaking this week, his label will most likely invest in trying to push another song.

Considering how long it took CD to smash in the US, Rema's team would be smart if they started to push a new single now while CD slowly dies. Lord knows when his next single could smash - if it ever does so.

I agree with you, they should take advantage of CD's success and just introduce the next single... But labels these days smhhhh

Charm is already taking off on its own right now, it could be a hit everywhere soon. If anything, that one could use a remix.

I need Miguel to go Top 10 even for a week. Get that Top 10 smash king!

I don't think Rema's team will try to make him a hitmaker in the US. They know it was a one time for life situation. Unhappily, US won't embrace Rema as they do with another american/canadian guy. So i think they will probably try to push Calm Down the most that they can and try to keep him big in his own markets.

We need Come Into My World or Love at First Sight to go viral. That’s probably the best way for Kylie to get another huge hit here in the US.

Damn "Flowers" is really the "As It Was" of 2023

Can Doja debut at #1 the week after, or is it too competitive up top?

Last Night :deadbanana:

Wait, are you telling me that „Last Night” song has already been #1 for 10 weeks? :deadbanana2:

Damn, Hot 100 has become so irrelevant :deadbanana2:

How? Last Night is genuinely one of the most popular songs of the year, if not the decade, and its streaming numbers speak for themselves. A pop girl would kill for these stats, especially today when the vast majority of them are, in fact, irrelevant. Taylor, Miley, and Selena are the only ones that have an actual hit right now.

Only two points of difference between #2 and #4 :deadbanana4:

Gap 1-2 94 pts, 2-18 90 pts. No song currently on the Hot 100 threatens Last Night. But at &/ just under 300 pts strong debuts by new songs could be enough to knock LN down. Olivia is 30 June & Taylor is 07 July.

Fast Car is doing a good bit better than Last Night at AC, FC #12 & Greatest Gainer while LN is 19 & barely treading water. Given ACs love for 80s music this makes sense. HAC is close but LN is a little ahead #9 & FC is 15. At T40 LN (#8) is well ahead of FC (22).

FCs T40 issue right now may be that it has already given 2 Country crossovers quite a bit of airplay in 2023. Thank God fits better than LN sonically but had weaker metrics. LN musically is more out of place but has top notch consumption numbers.  Maybe if/when T40 gets rid of TG FC can take off there.

There's only so far Country crossovers get without a remix at T40 & Last Night is rapidly approaching that ceiling right now. And Luke is even less likely than Morgan to do a remix. FC is up to #22 T40 published but behind #21 Trustfall by 1246 spins. That's quite a gap. Hopefully FC could at least go T15 at T40 before stalling out.

to be fair, last night is one of the most irrelevant #1s internationally in years.

on the billboard international chart it's gotten to #82.

Olivia cant get here fast enough
