Well we don't know what will happen for Midnights yet, but since 2020, she released two other albums. One won AOTY and the other was nominated. Everything above 85 on Metacritic too. Looks like acclaimed work to me. 

 

And let's not even start with GP appreciation because well...

Anyway, I was just expressing my opinion on Midnights in the base in case you actually care about it.

The answers are obvious, so I’ll add to the conversation that Taylor is a more talented writer than Gaga is a singer or actress. 
 

I really disagree with that one person who said Gaga wins in the visual department, too. Taylor’s become one of the best at creating distinct and cohesive aesthetics for each of her projects. Gaga may be bolder and less “safe” in this department, but that’s not necessarily a good thing; I think her off-putting aesthetic choices are largely responsible for the way her career tapered off from Born This Way to Artpop and beyond.

Taylor is much more talented than Gaga in music. Gaga's musical output since BTW is mostly terrible with the exception of a good song here or there. Gaga is the better vocalist when she chooses not to shout, like the Sound of Music performance. But she's always shouting now so... 

 

Basically Taylor makes much better use of her talent so her music is much better as a result.  

 

Yes Gaga is better at acting because acting is other people making use of your talent. 

 

Both have some talent - not everyone has that!
