So Little Mix split up so Leigh Anne could release one of the most uninspired tracks of the year? This doesn't sound nice at all; it sounds like a leftover Alexandra Burke track from her Heartbreak On Hold era

Alexandra has literally never released a song even remotely similar to this. You're just saying anything :rip:

#3 in the first look is amazing but that doesn't include Spotify so we need to try and hold onto top 10. The fact that the album was scheduled for early 2024 before the song's release and Leigh-Anne's reaction to the 500k debut seems like they knew already it's going to be an uphill battle and something that builds in the long run.

An alternate cover for the CD would work wonders. It doesn't even need to be signed.

I’m still hoping and praying that Warner aren’t put off by this not *instantly* smashing. I don’t want the music to suffer and the era to be derailed if they decide to delay everything or switch everything up to try and score a hit. If the music is good enough, people will come regardless how long it takes to find it’s audience. Leigh can’t build her audience and find her niche without releasing.

Imo, give this song a solid 10 - 13 weeks before moving on to single #2 in early September.

as expected, streams were just over 300k for Saturday. Sunday’s numbers will be worse, so brace yourselves lol

Y’all are doing wwwaaayyyyy too much. No one aside Stan expected this to smash out the gates. Warner is not as delusional as y’all, they were mostly likely expecting this. The goal is to build her solo career. If they expect her to smash out the gate they would have gone for a more global sounds. The fact they are focusing on the UK and the album is not due until next year should tell y’all they are prepare to fight the long game. Leigh-Anne is the least like in little mix. If the album get push back and were are on single #4/5 with no signs of an album being released then we can start panicking.

The songs hadn’t been playlists or even send to radio yet and y’all panicking like a bunch of *****

Can we please try and keep this on topic, thanks. This is a Leigh-Anne thread

*If* Hot Hits UK don’t add the song tomorrow, I wouldn’t worry too much. As an example, Zara’s ‘Can’t Tame Her’ took weeks to climb Apple Music and took even longer to reach the Spotify Top 200, but it eventually went on to get a decent chart run & peak, mostly after airplay picked up and streams did as a result.

Imo, at this stage, being play listed on BBC Radio 1 is the most important thing. Warner clearly aren’t able or willing (or whatever you want to believe) to cut a cheque to get the songs on big playlists. If it was that easy, they would have done it by now. We need more airplay = more streams = more playlisting = even more streams. That process can take weeks, so nothing is going to change drastically overnight. Just gotta wait and see what happens with this one.

A kii that you're pretending the supposed "Queen of Rap" had no impact on Jesy's single. How did her second one do again? :coffee2:

Finally got around to hearing this

Imo this is Incredible! I love everything about it, the production, vocals. The chorus is such an earworm.  Definitely going to have this on repeat! I'm on my 6th repeat

Well done Leigh Anne :clap3:

Nickis only top 10 hits in the past 5 years in the uk apart from super freaky girl were woman like me and BOYZ. So that is putting too much on Nicki. You’re so bitter, Jesy was a very popular member of the group and one of the more known at the time and had the hype of being first too.

Her second single flopped because of no radio support and lack of playlisting. It was a great song, great video and a good message.

Anyway, this thread is about Leigh-Anne instead of losing your mind every time you decide to bring up Jesy.

Jesy was the first to release and had the colossal drama and media exposure, of course there would be a bigger jumpstart.

Anyways, clearly there's plans for the single :giraffe:

The audacity of posting that rant and then accusing someone else of losing their mind, over a single sentence. :lmao: Jesy hasn't had any hits as a solo artist, so denying that Nicki Minaj played any part in getting that peak before it bombed off the charts is hilariously delusional.

You're right though, this thread is about Leigh-Anne and not her former bandmate who treated her like trash and encouraged racist bandwagon hate against her.
