why would the song rise on day 2 with no airplay and promo? All it has is playlisting. We’ll have to wait a couple days and weeks to see where it’s going.

It doesn't have any airplay and it's not doing good on Apple Music, that's why I'm predicting a top 40 debut on the Hot 100 instead of top 20

in what world is a -11 drop a great hold?

 

Even WW it dropped 7 places to a lower position than in the US, which has long been one of Madonna's weakest markets  

 

Most songs that are new releases tend to be stagnant, or hold close to their positions by +2-3 places at most. Any drop greater than that is rightfully written off as a relatively unexpected plummet.

A -11 drop for a song featuring Madonna in 2023 is nothing short of spectacular imo.  But all you go off like it’s supposed to perform like a current Drake or Taylor single.

 

even if this charts at #99 it’s still a huge win. Let’s celebrate its having such great holds for a Madonna song/feature/collab whatever you want to call it in 2023.
