The Foo Fighters release But Here We Are this Friday, 1st post Taylor Hawkins album. I'm not sure what to expect but believe over Linkin Parks Meteora's 20th Anny reissue & under Metallicas 72 Seasons. BHWA will most likely be the top selling album but Rock is well behind the streaming curve.

midnights will take over as the bestselling album in 2023. hdd estimate for the year through last week:

tomorrow x together 366k

midnights 347k

woulda gotten there next month even without the deluxe physical though.

the only albums during 2022 that got even as high as where txt is now:

Taylor Swift, Midnights (1.818 million)
Harry Styles, Harry’s House (757,000)
BTS, Proof (422,000)

so midnights is last year's midnights. bts is last year's txt.

@chartdata: .@taylorswift13's 'Midnights' now aiming for #1 with increased 280K units this week. It will mark its sixth week at #1, biggest non-debut sales week for any album in 2023 (via @HITSDD).

biggest sales week for any album in 2023 (excluding debut week sales)

I’ve been whinging about this since the start of her tour. Imagine if they had physicals for all her owned albums (including the TVs) from the start at the merch stands :deadbanana4:

Let’s hope they at least continue to sell the new edition of Midnights at the remaining 26 shows. Several more weeks at #1 locked if so.

#1

#6

#10
