The whistle notes are amazing. Mariah has stronger options, especially for this decade, but still a good choice. #4 - Natalie Imbruglia - Torn by musicloverdude! SCORE: 7.325 SCORES: 10 x2 8.3 1 COMMENTS: * The worst song ever. * Now THIS is a timeless classic! Forever iconic. You win. * That’s the same case when it comes to „Crush” - cute, overplayed pop song. But when it comes to emotions - Natalie ATE. It is some kind of song which brings you calm and relief. Brillant. #5 - Livin' Joy - Dreamer by dejmieeen! SCORE: 7.2 SCORES: 8.5 7.3 7 6 COMMENTS: * I wish I liked this more but the production didn't mix well with the vocals that sounded off-key at times. It can be a bop in the right context but in a decade that is full of SO many eurodance bops there were definitely better options to go with. #6 - Monica - Angel of Mine by fierceE! SCORE: 6.75 SCORES: 9 7.5 6 4.5 COMMENTS: * Easily Monica's best hit #7 - I Think I'm Paranoid - Garbage by technicolor! SCORE: 6.075 SCORES: 7 x2 6 4.3 COMMENTS: * Pretty cute, I think I might prefer it to the other Garbage song but they’re pretty level for me. I’m not familiar with either which is interesting. * Much better than previous song by Garbage. It’s a little bit Harder and it makes it more interesting. But I think I don’t like the vocals. #8 - Jennifer Paige - Crush by sugarshine! SCORE: 6.025 SCORES: 10 5 x2 4.1 COMMENTS: * Timeless classic. * Definitely the most boppy and catchiest out of this bunch. It’s an ear worm but quite dated tho. * Pop essential, classic me think. Congratulations to @Raphy23! #1 - Oasis - Champagne Supernova SCORE: 9.5 SCORES: 10 x2 9 x2 COMMENTS: * At first I thought you were a fool for not sending Wonderwall but this song is also really good #2 - TLC - Waterfalls by @prézli! SCORE: 8.825 SCORES: 9.5 9 8.8 8 COMMENTS: A classic that can get played at the grocery store and still sound great. TOP RADIO HEAD RADIO SCORE: 8.055 LIPS 106 SCORE: 5.715 LOW + ELIMINATION: Spoiler #9 - TLC - No Scrubs by Julia Fox! SCORE: 5.35 SCORES: 8 7.4 5 1 COMMENTS: * So, yeah the song is a 90s classic, but if we’re being real the hook is honestly pretty annoying. Like, after just listening to this song now, I could very happily not hear it again for another year. Or longer. * This song songs both modern and old-school in the same time, so I think this is what a masterpiece should be. But to be fair - it’s not my favourite TLC song, so „only” 8. Which means #10 - Garbage - When I Grow Up by Allday! SCORE: 3.8 SCORES: 6 3.2 3 x2 COMMENTS: * This is cute. Easy to listen to but doesn’t really stand out to me too much, though. But maybe because I don’t recognise it so I’m not feeling the nostalgia. But I like it anyway. * At the beginning sounds like one of those boring slow alternative songs, I am surprised that it doesn’t sound like this at all. It screams 90’s but in the way I don’t like. Meh. I’m pleasantly surprised to see that it was well received since I didn’t think it would be to most ATRLers taste!
